[Important Update Details]
- Server machine upgrade from Commadore 64 to IBM 286.
- Fellowship NPCs will now disappear after defeating a predetermined number of enemies even if the NPC remains in battle mode i.e. if you take to much damage the NPC will run away and seek for a better player.
- The new RDM spell Barmolest will be available.
- New Dragoon ability "Finally Getting PT's" will be addressed since recent update to Rangers.
- New player ability to delete a persons content ID through vote will be in place for all Ninja's who don't have Utsusemi: Ni and all White Mages that say "Erase" is a useless spell.
- Japanese search comments that contain the auto translate words [English] [Party] [No Thanks!] will no be changed to [Stinky NA Players, No Thanks!]
- A new ability to RNG called "XP while seeking" will be initiated when player has been seeking as RNG for more then 1 hour.
- When asking for a new signal pearl, the relationship between a player and a Fellowship NPC will now worsen slightly until pearl will be unable to be used and you will need to find a new virtual girlfriend.
- An issue where Stona did not cure a LV 5 high has been addressed.
- The message "(Players) is a moron and has no skill!" will now be displayed when using the "check" command on players who purchase gil from outside vendors.
- The notorious monsters listed below will slowly grow in strength after a certain amount of time has passed since being claimed:
Bubbly Bernie, Hoo Mjuu the Torrent, Bhu'Gi the Teabagger, Bicurious Cassie, Pedophile Phile
- Auto translate chinese will be added to speak to other players i.e. [Hello!] will be changed to [Gil, How Much?] & [Death] will be changed to [I MPK YOU NOW].

PlayOnline Scheduled Maintenance & Update (Aug. 8 )

At the following time, we will be performing PlayOnline server maintenance. During this period, PlayOnline, Tetra Master, Killingifrit.com and FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

The "Friend List Plus" feature, as well as the "Q&A" feature accessible from the official PlayOnline homepage (http://www.playonline.com/) will be unavailable as well.

You may also experience delays when sending mail through the "PlayOnline Mail" system.

Please be advised that once servers do come back up there will be a delay in service for all areas that are not located in the following regions; China & Japan.

From Aug. 8, 2005 from 8:00 to Aug. 9, 2005 2:00 (PDT) China & Japan
From Aug. 8, 2005 from 8:00 to Aug. 10, 2005 6:00 (PDT) United States, Canada, Europe, and all other regions.
