My parents just got a virus on the computer and they are saying that it was FFXI that did it and they took it off the computer so now i cant play.

WTF??? Where did he come up with that load of bull... Is he running his network through his pc, or through a router?
They are just making this up since it's not possible. I have my ps2 and pc connected and running and run my viruse checks every week with nothing.
I bet your mom or dad downloaded some junk got the virus and are using you and FFXI as the scap goat.
Tell your dad to go take some pc courses for dummies^^ j/k sounds like he knows very little about computers.
Oh I didn't say he was correct, I was just showin that parents will say anything. Anyways I'm movin out to go to college in 2 weeks, end of problem. I think he has it goin thru a router.. not sure tho.
Bring up the internet history and cookies and ask him in front of your mom about all the **** sites he's visited. Perhaps the virus came from there.

End result is, that FFX1/downloading patches and such will not give you a virus.
UNLESS u downloaded unsafe 3rd party programs like the ambiguously gay trio put up then yeah you should have FFX1 taken away. Now go to your room! j/k ;0

Naw I'm saving that dirt for a rainy day. I got yelled at when they found a cookie of a **** site I went to when I was 13 (I was curious so STFU). They got mad cuz I culda gotten a virus. I got dirt on my dad on sites he's been to...Oh how I will relish the day when i reveal his {secret}

Unfortunately, your parents are going to believe whatever they want to believe. If they think FF got the virus, so be it. If they just want to use it as a scape goat...well, so be that too.
