hah... yeah, this upcoming week is gonna' be my last week playing FFXI. It was a good time for sure, but there's some stuff that's a lot more important going on IRL. I'm gonna miss some parts of the game (Malorie... Mayhem...neither of which I'm ever going to be all that far away from, especially Mal ^^), but for the most part, this feels pretty good already :x
Big shout out though to Arcano, Biggie, Biggest, Mazrim, Netruz, Nenye, Zariko, Gobbo, Dimitre, Shadowfox, Khmerboi, Malorie, Caillec and well... a LOT more, you know who you are. Those of you who are still playing, and those of you who left already, either way, thanks for making the game enjoyable while I was around ^^
As for my Linkshell, xPROJECTxMAYHEMx, the new leader is going to be none other than Gobbo. /salute him if you see him running around eh. They're gonna' be a kickass LS any day now :)
So yeah, I'm gonna be running around half-naked for the next week. Selling my gear, and then on September 24th, I'm out. If you see any gear you'd like to buy from me on that lil link thing in my sig, feel free to send a /tell and an offer in game. Need the money to hook some people up before I go :o

oh, man this sucks (T~T).. i duno "i'm leaving in a month" feels like so far away when u first say it...>< but now that its here starts to hurt a little bit more.
*** lol i don't know why i get so attached to people like arel... when i see somone keep a good spirit about themself and constantly give and give and never expect much in return, it kinda eats away at my gaurd.
I duno if anyone in xPxMx knows why i play so much, or why im on when not at work. well i had a few good friends IRL. and for a while i only had fluffy. But then **** fell apart... an old friend returned from accross the country, and for a while we tried to all chill together, and i tried to keep it from happening but fluffy got sucked in and turned into someone i dont even know anymore. he started selling items that we worked hard to get together for crack and ****... last i heard they all got evicted and couldnt keep their jobs... people maybe think im a looser... but i am going to college at the end of september with ambisions and goals set for myself. But as it stands i kind'of have nobody but the people of bismarck, and the people in xPxMx... so they mean alot to me... i could imagine it realy sucking if we cant keep this linkshell together after he is gone ><
uhg.. hes gona quit like realy near my birthday .. the 22nd of this month.
but yea arel will leave a huge impact on me...im gona miss him a alot. I'm sure hes gona go on to do some kool **** and enjoy himself and thats what we gota try to do, enjoy ourselvs for as long as we can... thats life i guess...

Arelios is going to leave a big impact on the majority of the people in the LS. It wasn't as hard on me to leave when I did, as it is on me for you to leave now. I've known you for only such a short time, but in those few times we got to camp an NM with Biggest, or whatnot, I've come to know you as an excellent player through and through, and most definitely fun to be around. It makes me feel regret having not known you anytime sooner.

What do you say when one of the greatest people on the server is leaving? I guess you could talk about how great they were at their job class, or about how they had all of their spells/armor/equip and so on. You could talk about what you wanted or wished would have happened before they left the game. You could do all of these things, but it wouldn't do you much good ... so I'm here to talk about all of the things Arelios was and is besides a kick *** RDM and how sad I am that he is leaving the game.
If there was ever a more helpful person on this server, I'd be shocked if you said it wasn't Arelios. He has been there for everyone one of his friends from the beginning to the end and helped them obtain, defeat, and win anything they had their hearts set on. He would rally people together and get them to participate in things he knew he couldn't do alone. With Arelios around there was always something to do, and some way to have fun no matter what it was. It could be farming, which is the most boring activity one could possibly imagine, but Arelios had a way of turning it around and you'd end up laughing more than you would complain about a stolen prized mob.
What makes Arelios great is not his ability to do his job, it is his ability to make people laugh and generally enjoy the game more. He's been like a brother to some ... standing with them in and out of game and encouraging them in whatever matters RL and in game had in store. He's been the love of others; his charming personality and will to see the good in everyone has one him the heart of more than one girl. Most importantly, to me anyway, he's been a friend and someone that has never passed judgment on anyone because of a rumor someone spread. This is what draws people to Arelios, not what he is capable of as a RDM. His loyalty is something everyone that knew him will never forget.
I know I said I wouldn't talk about wishes ... but if I had one, I would have liked to join his linkshell and become his friend a lot sooner. Yes, we go way back to the time of fumbling idiots, but it's the friendship he was so ready to give me that I will miss the most. You can never have too many friends, especially one as wonderful and giving as Arelios.
For all of you that never had the chance to meet him ... I feel so sorry for you because you missed out on one hell of a guy.

Wow ; ; Another great person leaving - as we all say when ppl leave good luck to you and it was great to have met you. I truly mean that. You were one of the people in the game that was always pleasant to be around and lots of fun. But there's one other thing I always say when people leave >>> "see you again soon and don't delete your character ^^" I hope to someday see you again =) Nice knowing you Arel, take care.
