This makes Windurst the first country to claim newbie territories from both nations :) I think this means I have all the outpost warps now cept maybe 1 or 2

I think I saw a taru trade a bronze subligar to the outpost in gustaberg. That would indeed topple the balance in windurst favor :)

Bastokans don't care about gustaberg.. the only tourist attraction there is 'close' access to LL...

I like Gustaberg and all, but its nowhere near as convenient as the other two newb zones. The outpost for Gustaberg is on the left side of North. So that means you have to go half a zone through North to get to South, then you have to walk almost the full zone of South to get to Bastok.

Yeah its quicker than Teleport-DEMing it to Bastok, but not as convenient as the others, which have their outposts right near a city entrance.

peace,
CR

This makes it much easier for me to earn GP, which is my current obsession. I realized I've reached 70 Alchemy and have neither the Caduceaus(sp?) or the Apron. I figure I should do that now before getting any higher in rank as the items they ask for are already crazy.

Teleport-Alter > Korroloka Tunnle 4tw forget pratically porting to the highlands zone and running to bastok. I wonder if you raced someone from dem on a chocobo and someone on foot from the outpost who would win?

The thing that sucks about this is that I can never EVER change nations... I love having Ronfaure and now Gusty OP teles (I'm a war, so no korroloka escape trick for me)

so yeah how the hell do you take these areas? i looked many times and they arent on my EF list. i was thinking about making a character in windurst going and setting my hp at the outpost pulling a yagudo to the outpost and repeatedly dying to see if beastmen could get control of it. but then i realize all the low level jobs constantly lvling there and it would be literally impossible. honestly i dont see any way an EF would be able to do it either.

It's from people wasting gil and giving the outpost gaurds items for conquest points. Not that big of a deal that Windy got Sandy first. Anyone crazy enough to waste gil could've done that and it's not that impressive
