Extra, Extra! Bismarck loses in Ballista Royal!Follow

Not sure if anyone else watched, but for the rest of Bismarck to know, we lost 51 to 0... We did have a couple of kills, but no points scored.

Phoenix was a championship caliber team. So congrats to Phoenix for raping Bismarck and making fools of us...

._.;; To the players of our team, it hurt me more to watch then it probably did for you to lose that badly...

Anyway you guys did your best and congrats on making it as far as you did, =P maybe SE will do this again sometime in the future and we can show those other servers up then!

I missed this (I've never even tried ballista) so I can't speak knowledgably (sp >.>) but if you had fun trying then that's all that really matters

Yeah i watched the ballista on the live cam but a lot of what i saw was shin killing people lol btw how did you like shinfuuma the ballista god of phoenix?

but yeah it's nice to see people still have good sportsman ship some people all they do is talk **** whether they win or lose just the same old thing

but me personally i thought you guys went hard

you guys did better than the team i was in when we had to fight them in the prelim on phoenix lol we lost with some score like 30 or somethen to 0 but shin even embarasses the japanese on our server it was just fun just to compete

Not to take anything away from ChaosTheory, they were awesome, but there were a few reasons we lost so badly. I know I had no clue how much non-ballista items/enhancement equipment would have an effect on the world vs world ballistas (they're used a lot more so than the other matches because you don't lose anything by using them on the other server). I didn't even know the stoneskin torque existed , but I sure do know now after the embarressing 106 SA dancing edge to their bard.

After the first 5 minutes it was like 23-0 because we lost the first fight so badly, if they wanted they could have just avoided us the rest of the fight, so atleast I pretty much threw in the tail there and just started to run up and attack.

Part of the reason we lost the first battle horribly was because of outside items/enhancement equipment I think, but I wasn't there long because I was chasing the drk to try to stop him from scoring in fear of a score/avoid strategy. I do know that our team only had one icarus wing and a few poison potions. We did mean to bring icarus wings for all melees, but I registered my character weeks ago without really knowing (I still had my spectacles which I sold sometime ago), and our other members had problems too.

Not bringing other items and enhancement items was completely our fault though, we should have figured to use them, but it never came to my mind that they'd be a huge part of the match. ChaosTheory was the better team just for think of using them, and from what I've heard the other matches heavily used items too. I'm not saying that we would have beat them, it just wouldn't have been such a joke if we had known what to expect. I'm ready to be amazed again when they really need to fight.

I'll still wear my star's cap all the time. We haven't earned it less than we did before because we lost this match, and I still wore it before this even though the last match never happened, so I see no reason I shouldn't now.

Anyway, congrats ChaosTheory, thanks for the fun, Laural crown will be yours!

It was fun guys, Phoenix has a core hardcore Ballista group and you played them on Sunday ^^; It was fun, hopefully we can win it all.
