I'm in a similar situation as Jadeyn was a while back (and might still be in), I'm looking to get a group together to fight Fenny. I've tried 4 times so far and we've lost to little, circumstantial things.
I was hoping that someone out there would be kind enough to help me get this accursed puppy, I'm a level 67 WHM, I've managed to live through his 2hour with Stoneskin up so I know I can be a valuable member of the party. Is anyone up for it? I was thinking Friday night would work best for me.

Well since Jadeyn hasn't gotten him either I was thinking we could bring 7, the assault team and then Jadeyn or I as the healer for the group.
Looks like we have 2 so far, need a tank and BLM I think and then one other. Not sure what the best set up for this is, friends of mine beat it with PLD/NIN and THF/NIN tanking.

I'm not sure if I read what you said wrong, but it is a 6 person BCNM fight. I'm 2/14 on it now. The more smns you have the easier the fight. I've never won without a smn in the pty.
With a smn I'm 2/3, and only lost the 1 time becuase the smn pulled and died 5 secs into the fight. I told them tank should pull.

Yar 6 people, but both Jaden and I need it and 2 67 WHM's in one group probably isn't the way to go on a Fenrir fight is it? I'd think you'd want more DD's but maybe I'm wrong. So I was thinking 7 people, 2 runs, the 5 in the assault team then either Jaden or I.
I'm not sure if it's similar to the prime avatar BC's but I don't think you can do it twice in one day as you have to wait one day after you hand in the whisper before you can get another moon bauble to go in.
Nope, moon bauble is a key item, you don't loose it.

I meant after a successful run. If my memory serves me correct (it has been 3 months) the tuning forks are also key items and are replaced with the whisper on winning. It might be the same with fenrir. Can anyone say for sure?

When you beat Fenrir you lose your key item, Moon Bauble, and receive a key item, Whipser of the Moons. You cannot recieive a new Moon Bauble until you have turned in your whisper and then you must wait for 0:00 JST time(11:00AM EST) to pass.
