Hey, I am coming back to FFXI, had to start fresh and now I am on the Hade's server. I want to get back on the Bismark server where all my friends are. However, I have no clue on how to accomlish this.

Can someone help me out and explain what I need to do in order to get back onto the Bismark server. What kind of pass do I need, and someone mentioned I needed a password? I want to remain on the Bismark server.

The above poster is mostly correct. A worldpass will give you a code that allows you onto the server that the worldpass was purchased on. Someone buys you the worldpass on Bismarck, they then get the code. They give you the code. You enter it at the character selection screen, and voila your on Bismarck. I'd buy ya one but today was my last day playing before going back to college. Hope you get what your looking for.

From what you said, it seems that you already have created a new character and you were placed on Hades. If this is the case, you cannot move that character until world migration is allowed (which is a very rare occurance). If you do get your hands on a world pass, you must delete your character that is currently on Hades and create a new one in order to choose what server you are on. Or, you can purchase another content ID for $1 a month and have that new character on Bismarck. Either way, you may want to limit the amount of effort you put into your Hades character because you will have to do it all over again if you want to go to Bismarck. ^.^
