why would you wanna do that when you can level up!
because riku, like it or not, this is a RPG, as in, ROLE PLAYING game. so if somebody would rather role play instead of mindlessly exp, let them :D
I honestly dont know of a rp ls. Thats why I dont think anyone has posted here...so why dont you start one? I'd be down for it....god there has to be something else to do besides level..

blargelfargel i realy dont like makeing my own LS's cuz im never a good leader plus iv just started agin after a couple months of quiting (when i heard the new expasion pack im like..."*&#$ i gatta play FFXI agin...") so getting the money for a LS is hard right now cuz trying to support a taru blm is hard

I was in one for a bit early on (at NA release), but it faded away. Uh, just a minor note. All the RP'ers I know prefer not to see chat-room shorthand (ie. no "u", "ur", "4", "2" etc. used to abbreviate words). Well, prefer is putting it mildly. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to them.
OTH, RP'ers are usually overjoyed when someone is interested in RP'ing with them regardless of their "accent". All the RP'ers I knew from release have long since left FFXI, but I'm sure there are others around somewhere here.
