The Fake Dcer List,Follow

Everyone
Every Server
with very few exceptions has fake dc'd before

Laughing so hard... XD

I'm not going to lie, I have done it before... and I know most everyone who has been in a bad party and just didn't have the heart to tell them has.

But for the most part I am usually an *** and say "Sorry guys, but this isn't working out, I am going to go lfg again." "<Nice to meet you.><See you again.>" *click*disband*click*

heh, i can honestly say i've never had to fake a d/c. i can tolerate bad parties as long as i'm not the one doing the dying.

as for anyone else, i can't say i've actually seen someone fake d/c and KNOW they were doing it.

I do it!!! all the time.

You know what I do? I just turn my ps2 off. :D

So instead of just putting that party out of its misery, you drag some other poor sap out there to endure it? Your replacement will probably just leave or fake dc.

Some parties just suck so bad that you have no choice but to fake dc.

Also, Bowser's strategy is great. Works like a charm.

I know for me, I have a problem with d/cs. They are unpredictable and frustrating for me. Sometimes My computer restarts every 5-10 mins I play. I just can't take it anymroe and I dont bother coming back on after the 12th time it happens. I don't purposely do it really, but what do you want me to do? Yes I know I have a ****** comp don't bother telling me.

Point is, it's not always the players fault really.

It saves a lot of time to just take out the ethernet cable. You can log back in on a mule in less than two minutes!

Seny has a point, internet can go down, cable went techincal **** happens... theres not a damn thing we can do about it.

One time during a SNOWstorm, I saw lightning, I said,

"Holy ****, its snowing and lightning at the same time, im gonna log"

It was quite funny, since it looked like I lied

I remember a while ago you had a post about not being able to log on because your internet and FFXI were sucking, and I was having the same problem.

Occasionally, my wireless goes down, and my PS2 is on the wireless. I'll keep dropping to like 44% and then come back up to 100% again... it happens a lot at times, and it sucks. Sometimes it kicks me multiple times, sometimes I can't get back on, and sometimes I try so long I just give up. So yeah, there are those people that don't fake D/C but just have a crap connection.



I've had the "start to drop from the game" when I'm supposed to skill chain or magic burst many times, so this actually does happen. I've also had bard songs interrupted A LOT because of lag. I'll move to where I'm supposed to be, and wait a second before singing my song, but the game thinks I'm in the other spot so when it registers I move and cast the song at the same time. I waste 8 seconds of standing there to get "Annalise's casting is interrupted."
