I just don't understand why they don't care.. no ls has gotten a claim ever if they go except for maybe once to twice

I would also like to point out that people cluster up around where the mob pops. I do not always see it when it pops, I see it on my minimap, but never on the screen. They very well could be claiming it when it pops, but then the mob will show up purple to you because you didn't see it when it popped. That's not hard to mistake, but what is hard to mistake is them botting over you not noticing your minimap.

bots or botting is a program that lets u do something with out haveing to be there to do it or do something faster like voke bots voke the mob u want as soon as it see it craftin bots craft for u ect ect. also olairik do u realy not kno wat it is or are u pulling my leg? >.>

Bot can also be used to mean running someone else's character while they can't make it. That sort of botting is AOK by most people, and many HNM shell rules mention it.

So if you hear it negatively, they're botters. If you hear it positively, they're botting.

well, if you played the new expansion, you'd know there's a taru that tries to warp you to jeuno but 9 out of 10 times he'll dump you on a pillar or rock in qufim, saurmonge, rolanberry, or batallia. sorry belgarath, but your really off on that screen shot.

Play the expansion and you'll find that a certain tarutaru has poor aim with casting teleportation spells, and thus tends to dump you off in the wierdest places. However, despite his poor aim, it really is the quickest way back to Jeuno :P

Where's your proof?

All anyone has done so far in this thread is to make a baseless accusation against a linkshell. I am not a member of Unreal, and personally I have no intention of joining them because frankly...

I can barely keep up with playing during NA prime, let alone Kuwaiti primetime :P

Seriously though. To accuse a linkshell of botting is a pretty serious offense, and one that you MUST substantiate with pictures or a thread link where an LS member is admitting to it. If you don't, your claim is worth about as much as a pound of Galkan Sausage on the San d' Orian Auction House.

After all, what you see on your screen could possibly be wrong. I myself am on a college campus where EVERYTHING pops purple to me, experiance point mobs included sometimes. Are you sure it isn't your connection that is a problem? Lag is also a huge issue, and can make it so that mobs don't load on your screen quickly in huge crowded areas. Could that might be a reason you don't see Fafnir or whatever until it is claimed?

We are a lucky server. Over on my other server, Lakshmi, there is wide spread admitted botting going on. It's bad enough that people try to find bots that can outdo other bots to claim. The main linkshells on this server that regularly attend king camps (Lunarians, IRON, ArchDominus, FoUrtyTwo, etc) don't bot-claim mobs. Or at least, if they do, they are sure doing a pretty crappy job of claiming constantly :p .

As a server overall, we're pretty clean, and I am undoubtedly sure that nearly everyone would like it to remain that way.

Thus, if you are going to accuse Unreal of botting kings, PROVE IT. Sitting on a forum and making proofless claims only serves to smear a name in the proverbial mud without reason, and that serves no purpose.

You're a Bismarckian, and you are representing not only yourself, but your server and your linkshell when you post here.

So please, back up your claims with more than just statements.
