Oy.. I remember way back when. I stayed with lvl 1 RSE till lvl 10, till my older bro told me to get new armor when I got my first pt invite. I also rememeber solo'ng out in Konschat to level 15 not knowing what a tank job was. Got a pt invite, I was leader, I was so inspired as a pt leader saying "Good job everyone!" everytime we killed a monster. I was so proud of myself. Nowadays I try to avoid being a pt leader, usually when I'am it breaks o___O... Not that I'm a bad leader or anything. Just bad luck xD

Good thread Tenners...

So, it seems that I have made the same n00bish mistakes that everyone else has. My biggest thing was thinking (and fighting about) that by running around a mob when fighting that I would'nt get hit. For some reason is just seemed to work, so I fought about it all the time with people. Wondered what the hell people meant by SATA... Could not find anything about that THF power in the Brady Games guide ^^. Took me finaly asking a THF in AF (thought he was a god) what a SATA was... Then he told me that I could do the impossible: Stack it with a weapon skill. I tried that so many times it wasn't funny, then realized I had to macro SA and TA and the WS as well... Now I am a dagger weilding machine! I refused to use macros until like lvl25 or so... thought they were a waste of time and didnt want to seem stupid by asking how to write them. Now, I am a macro *****!

- was reading the booklet while installing onto the PC and after making my taru and being placed somewhere in Windy I just stood there pressing just about every key on the keypad wondering why I couldn't move. Had a few folks run up and stop to look at me then continue on their way. After what had to be literally 10 minutes finally figured out I had to use the keypad >.>

- being a lvl 8 or 9 rdm without a subjob and was in a full party trying to complete windy mission 1-2. everything is going well and all of a sudden I auto-targeted someone accidently and had no clue how to turn it off, so I wasn't able to open any of the doorways and was panicking at the party, "HELP!!!!!!! WHAT DO I DO!!!!"

- in my 2nd linkshell and always seeing (^^) and thinking that was some kind of sign for a paw or something, so it made absolutely no sense to me at the time ^^;

- being excited for lvl'ing and getting the new spell "Diaga". So here I am in an xp party in the dunes and we're fighting stuff and I cast "Diaga" thinking "Hey, it uses more mp, must be more powerful then just regular Dia". Needless to say I killed about half of our party and after the sand settled they all looked at me and asked wtf? After telling them there were a bunch of LOLOLOLOL's in the party chat followed by a "please don't do it again."

-Walked to Bastok and Windurst at lvl 15. lol This has to be my greatest little adventure. I still take that long walk from time to time. Kind of relaxing. (Plus cheap.)

Wow, talk about a fond memory for myself as well. After disbanding an xp party in the maze a few of us headed out for Bastok (think I was lvl 12'ish at the time?). I'd never been on the ferry before and so seeing Selbina was also very exciting. Finally getting to Bastok I couldn't believe how far we traveled. While their one of the members suggested joining the alchemy guild and we all soon disbanded and I logged out. When I logged back in I remember whining to the LS about how long it was going to take me to get back home to Windy LOL.

- Ohh... LOL, one last tid-bit. Never realized there was an "Auto-run" until I was lvl 20 or so which made typing and running a very difficult task <run> <stop> where we heading <running again> <stop> Ahhh, ok <running until someone asks a question> <stop> blah blah... /sigh

edit: corrected a few typo's...
