Sorry Tzora,(Ahtman)

We pearled you as a favor to another LS member even though you were well below our requirments on COP. You made no attempt to meet those requirements during your trial so a decision was made.

Of course I expect many more people who either didnt pass a trial, were booted or even quit on their own accord to join the circus here, so keep it coming.

Here a small piece from our POSTED rules that seems to go unnoticed when the tears start to fall or the angst comes into play...

Quote:
Please keep in mind that Epilogue is not a social shell and we do have goals that we expect people to reach. We try to keep our roster active and people progressing at all times.
Sooo..This means that when you choose not to come to events or would rather go to Valurm Dunes on your lvl 17 toon instead of working towards a goal that was laid out in front of you PRIOR to you recieving a trial pearl..We can manage without you.

Some of you use the "Its just a game" line. Do you pay 9 bucks to go to the movies and not watch it? Its just a movie right?

If you want "Just a game", why would you want to join an endgame LS in the first place? For that feeling of acceptance? Some people just dont have the drive and mentality for it. Of course when you fail at it, you only need start a thread on a public forum and point your finger at everyone but yourselves. Take some responsibility for your own actions and stop cowering in the corners whilst blaming others.

Bottom line is, the people complaining came to us. We didnt search them out. They should have read the rules and had some sort of comprehension of them. If not, they have other issues to deal with.

People come on to Alla trashing endgame shells on a daily basis. This is nothing new. Again, in many cases, its usually the failures that start the trash talk because they have no discipline and couldnt handle following rules or meeting requirements that were set forth.

*Snubbles* *Huggles* *Ugh*

Knowing the nature of this forum, you couldn't have ended this thread after your first response. You know it KH. Stop your posting and this thread will die.

Man theres too much war going on this post. But I do know someone this time^^ and thats Zuzeeque and she helped me out long ago with windy mission 2-3 but anyway.............
Why r we starting war on this post this is madness and I feel like hitting u all. Think about what ur saying cause there r obvious reasons y ppl do things and if u don't listen to their point of view then it will get u nowhere.
I'm not getting at anyone but to start an entire big post just to talk about the ppl that hurt u and ur brother and that u wanna get back on them............... well it seems like u should actually talk to them instead of starting war on Ala by firing tons of hate.

Nice try, but Tzora and Ahtman are not the same person, though she is my wife irl. I'm not talking about her either. I do have the screenshot though of you referring to her as Tzora Jesus, which is funny to.

All hail Tzora Jesus leading us to the promised land!

This should help us reach 3 pages of drama. You are welcome.

Looking at the rate and doing some Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Arthimetic, and a whole bunch of other funky calculations we may just reach 3 pages by Saturday at 7 pm eastern and tap out at 137 post with the last one coming Tuesday morning at 11:00 am est.

Either that or we will all realize that people take the game too seriously and have a major case of elitism and will stop posting negative comments on the forum.

Somehow I think it will be the former plus a few extra flames in the process. Just a hunch.

Enjoys a pixie stick and some popcorn while he waits for the next flamer.

I dunno if I've misunderstood this, but I'm getting the impression that so-called "social linkshells" are viewed as being inferior to you end-game fellas. Yeah, sure, if you wanna set high standards and kill big dragons, fair enough. And if you don't want people STOPPING you from killing big dragons by messing about and only killing little bunnies, also fair enough; maybe they shouldn't be in that paticular shell.

But some of us ENJOY just killing the little bunnies, and taking funny photos of ourselves hiding in long grass, and buying rubbish hats just cos they look nice, and have ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION of ever joining a linkshell that takes the game so seriously. Are we sub-human for not doing so? That's the impression I'm getting here, correct me if I'm wrong...

This is a good point, requoted for emphasis. I would also like to point out that there are those of us who do have intentions of doing end game activites, but ALSO enjoy doing dance emotes and /follow /random taru's around. I know what your going to say, "but that will interfere with us killing big dragons!" But if we do it on our own time that shouldn't be a problem unless your an elitist *******. And if you took offense to this post (which you shouldn't unless I missed something horrible in proofreading, then you are one of those elitist ******** who only wants their members to do what they want, when they want it.

Facts about HNMLS's
-------------------

Myth: Once you join an HNMLS, you get to work towards getting gear you cannot obtain any other way.

Fact: HNMLSs only exist to obtain gear for the leader and his friends. I'll use an example, but change some details so no one knows who I'm talking about or gets hurt. Let's say there's an LS on the server called ArtDramaticus, led by a White Mage named Jwc. There's a bard named Valfire who joined the LS a few months back, thinking he'd get something out of it. After months of doing nothing but camping Fafnir, Valfire saw Aquarian Abjuration Feet drop. Everyone seemed pretty disappointed with the drops, and no one really wanted the Abjuration, so Valfire asked Jwc if he could have it. Jwc said no, kicked him from the alliance, hacked the accounts of everyone present, made them pass the abjuration, and sent Valfire a screenshot of the abjuration rotting. He then wrote a script to have his character follow Valfire around for the next three months, killing all his exp mobs with a relic weapon. In the meantime, Jwc flew 2000 miles to Valfire's house, kicked Valfire's dog, laughed in his face personally, and then spilled beer on Valfire's carpet.

Myth: Most HNMLSs are fairly understanding about RL issues. It's no big deal if you're visiting your girlfriend and can't make a sea raid, or Adamantoise camp or whatever.

Fact: Valfire had a 157% attendance rate, and claimed every ground god that spawned, plus several that didn't. After spending 86 days in front of his computer, working incredibly hard in the hopes that his Aquarian Abjuration Feet would drop, he collapsed from dehydration and atrophied muscles. He was rushed to the UCLA medical center, and for twelve grueling hours had several very expensive and experimental medical procedures attempted on him in order to get him back in playing condition. He returned to his computer fourteen hours after collapsing to find it destroyed, with a note from Jwc saying that his points had been reset, he was kicked from the linkshell, and his family was being held hostage.

Myth: You can make friends in an HNMLS.

Fact: HNMLSs only exist to obtain gear for the leader and the officers. Remember in the last fact where I said 'the leader and his friends'? I lied about that. Jwc, to use the fictitious White Mage from the previous example, regularly administers physical beatings to his officers. This racks up high airfare costs, but he covers this by stealing from the LS bank and selling gil for airfare. In fact, Valfire is pretty sure Jwc hacked his account and used his crafting skills to sell arrowwood lumber in order to recoup the airfare from the Aquarian Abjuration Feet incident. Valfire once tried to make a friend in ArtDramaticus, but the 'friend' told Jwc about these overtures, and Jwc burned Valfire's entire apartment complex to the ground.

Myth: You can post LS drama in a public forum and get it resolved.

Fact: Jwc is currently bathing in Valfire's blood, because he had a keylogger installed on Valfire's computer. Sometime after Valfire finished typing the third Myth/Fact set, Jwc used his awesome mind control powers to rip Valfire's heart out of his body from 2000 miles away, and then reanimated Valfire's corpse to type these final two Myth/Fact sets.

Myth: There are many HNMLSs for you to choose from.

Fact: Jwc is like a god. Jwc has hacked every account on Bismarck, and uses all of them for his nefarious schemes. Jwc knows where you live. Jwc is actually every Japanese character you meet on the server. Jwc invented Japan for his own amusement.

I hope this set of facts about HNM and end-game linkshells will enlighten readers as to the current state of affairs that led to the original post. Although the linkshell I used in my examples is fictitious, I'm sure the feelings involved in it will resonate with the OP, and the linkshell leader that the OP is discussing. I hope this will help anyone reading this post to make an informed decision about whether it's personally worth it to them to put in the effort involved in an HNM or end-game linkshell.
