jezzz i really hope this isnt jjay. I does sound a lot like him though doesn't it. If this isn't the real Jjay i'll say sorry up front.
If it is the real jjay, do you own any firearms? If not, run down to your local store pick up a bottle bleach and drink it. If you do have said gun, load it, aim it at your face, pull the trigger, repeat if needed.
Seriously no one here wants to help you.

Hey man I know Blksnk needs a Ohat to, If its a later in the nite run, I can help. The only catch is Blksnk gets to go for his first, he has been screwed over a couple times already and deserves it. Anyhow you my word is good :)so if you can get a party together with blk maybe we can get you both this allusive hat :)

I don't mean to be a jerk, but I really don't think a 70 blm is useful enough to get there friend to go first.
I've helped a lot with it. Usually the person that made the pty goes first, then the tanks or friends of the tanks go, then random after that.

Btw, its not good idea to be the first one to pop item in pick up raid.. You never konw what will happen, you might lose the first round.

So true....My buddy and I had our clusters and we put a huge alliance together, mostly pick up. He went 1st and lost, everyone died miserably.
He was so depressed about it so I sold him my cluster. We went again, knew exactly what needed to be done--but better!--and he got his hat. I was happy for him, but I still have another cluster and need my O-Hat too.
So, if you haven't done it yet, look me up. I maybe able to scrounge a few excellent people up to join in and help us.

This fight isn't hard at all. I saw a pty of 5/6 people doing it, and they won 5 of 5. Took them a long time to kill it, but they always won.

Well 4 ppl can kill Hakutaku but that not the point is it?
Nobody is saying Hakutaku is hard at all. But from my experience, pickup raids are usually very un-organized. Theres always someone doing stupid thing.
So.. you can never expect what will happen from an un-organized group. If you want to be the first one to pop go ahead, it will be your own risk.
Btw, everyone spending gil when they are trying to do their job right. Ninja isnt the only job that cost gil. What about Rng? what about melee that eat HQ food? I do agree that whoever host the raid could get a provority.. but giving tank first provority sound unreasonable.

Have to agree too. If you have a pick up group and some of them haven't done this before, one error can be the start of a real bad chain of events. Trust me, we coached, we planned, we coached some more and one "OOPS" ruined it.
The 2nd run was just fine, and yes, if you know what you're doing it will go smooth. But honestly, everyone who gives a hoot about joining an event like this one, will spend gil to ensure they are on their "A" game. Au Laits, HQ food, Ethers, Yags, Pies, Arrows, etc....
I say, the person who organized it has the choice to go first, but if he doesn't and if other people are wanting to get their cluster too, just to do a /random.
