I don't remember any storm or anything like that recently. I'm on Long Island though, strange stuff happens here.
Yeah it was all in the Buffalo area... we had lake effect snow...it's only october! The big problem was the trees still had leaves, which collected snow...which snapped the trees into nothing. There are so many broken tree limbs EVERYWHERE and for a while you couldn't drive anywhere.
It was the 6th biggest snowfall in a 24 hour period in the history of western new york-23.4 inches I believe. 23.somethign anyways....
I also believe october 12th was the biggest snowfall ever recording, breaking the record, only to be shattered the next day on friday october 13th.
392,000 homes and businesses were without power...and not even all of them have it back yet (some estimated to get it back by sunday! That's a week and a half without power!)
12 deaths...105 miles of throughway was closed for a day (Buffalo to Rochester)... There are a lot more crazy facts but I'll stop.

Yeah I missed you guys =( I played a LOT of scrabble and Yahtzee...haha fun times. My work was closed a few days too which was bittersweet. Poor Jim got it worse though haha.

Oddly those 3 together I'd love to see. I think it be cool.
Sorry your sh*t got knocked out and welcome back.
It was definitely interesting...but it did more damage that the blizzard of 77 if you've heard of that one... and it's by far the most power outages in western new york history. So it wasn't that cool haha. But definitely interesting to go through.
