I personally would love if they would add these.
Atma Beast from final fantasy 6, He drops Atma Sword and have the same system they had in final fantasy 6, where the sword gains the strength of the user and loses strength when you are dmg.

obviously this sword can do massive damage but it almost has a 50% chance of instant death! to yourself! lol
and.. to activate the latent effect you have to be atking something lol...

This thread wasn't discussing the usefullness of weapons, rather what we would think would be neat to see in-game. =)
