The first ever ballista tournament!!! (not hosted my SE,lol)Follow

Unfortuntely no one plays ballista on bismarck, just us few and the JP's, makes me think about server switching every week.

Hey Strifer, you know I will be there. And everyone else who plays against me knows I'm an easy target. So you know you will get gate breach from me about any time you need it...lol

I'm glad people are starting to take interest in this :)So, does that mean i should add you to the list, as well, AesHQ? lol. So, in the case of Shykin, Deathsblessing, and Teebone wanting to join as well... as well as others i have asked in-game, then my estimate is that so far we have:

Strifer
Deathsblessing
Honda
Vaelic
Shykin
Singular
Teebone
Sicklove
AesHQ (i'm sure that's not your in-game name, lol)
Hirotic
Squah

That would make for some pretty interesting team combinations :) I suggest that most of you guys make your own teams so that we can get started with this things as soon as possible. As of right now, my team consists of me, Deathsblessing, Honda, and Vaelic. I'm not sure if anybody else would like to join, but i'm pretty sure they would, i will still ask around. As for the rest of you, get your teams together and post them on here ASAP... It doesn't have to be four people like my team has... your team can consist of anywhere from 1-However many you want. This is how it will work, though. Let's say, just for now, that Shykin, Singular, Teebone, Sicklove, Hirotic, Squah, and AesHQ decided to form one team as well... that would be good, except my team only has four people right now, so Shykin's team would choose four people to participate in the match. Then, the next match, Shykin's team would again choose four people, but this time, make sure that it is the three people that hadn't participated yet, and then another that you all can agree on. This way, i plan on getting everyone to participate in the game. While your making teams, invite your Linkshell members! It worked for me in my old Linkshell, and it will work for you if you ask and show them this forum. More than likely, if they are your friend, they will agree. More than half of the people i played ballista with in my old LS had never played ballista before and ended up liking it! So, just encourage them to take on this wonderful opportunity ^_^

If you like PvP sure, go to Guild Wars or WoW or something. FFXI isn't great at it. Hell it's not what FFXI was made for. It's their first attempt at an mmorpg and they stuck with that they knew, the RPG aspect. I'm not attacking WoW, just stating my opinion for the tards ready to ratez0rz me downz0rz omgz0rz i don't carez0rz cuz i r 1337.

Gamion is absolutely right, that isn't what FFXI was made for... and if they stuck to Warcraft's Genre, that's not how WoW would be, either.

Anyhow, if you are interested, i really do encourage you to join. Guess i have to keep saying that, huh? lol

30 cap is really fun. I'd be down for playing. if you havent started yet.

lol, Shykin is right :P But yeah... i can't start the tournament until players start making teams! So get your act together, players of Bismarck, get your friends and make a team! Name it too!
