I nor anyone else here was there. None of us were there to hear the plan for the drops.

But to me this sounds more like you didn't get the drop on your orb and wanted some gil out of him for getting it.
Sounds like a sore loser to me wanting to bash someone else for their luck.

As for reading the boards here, its something I do at work when I am bored and nothin better to do than see/read a bunch of whiny ppl complain about things.

See people whine or complain about things...or warn others to use caution when dealing with the aforementioned people? Whether there is proof or not I personally would still like to hear about these issues if it concerns me possibly getting screwed over in the future. The more information I have, the better I can protect myself.

All that really matters is the circumstances of the situation. I dunno about Mr. Fear or Rocko's other two friends, but like another said, this is like someone setting 1 million in your hands, then taking it away. Regardless as to whether or not it was a scam, or whether or not there's a sore loser in our presence, you won't see me in any BCNM with Rocko any time soon.

I think Unholy said it earlier

We had it happen on Asura. The guy was a *** about it too.

Told everyone that we were his flock blah blah. He ended up selling it to buy some kotes and other NIN gear.

honestly chalk it up as a lesson learned. Dont trust anyone you dont know. I lent a pair of leaping boots to someone I thought i could trust and rather than give them back he told me he accidently tossed them and he would replace them asap. I havet seen nor heard of him since. Lesson learned. Crappy lesson but learned none the less.

It's kinda sad that due to heresay and gossip, not fact, that there are stigmas placed onto people. I know Xrocko, and I am proud to count myself as a friend of his. But regardless of this, your orb your drops means precisely that. Not your orb your drops UNLESS something of value drops, especially when the person who gets the drop has a use for it. I have read the forums here for a long time and read one a long time ago about someone, and as such was very wary of that person. He became a very close friend of mine and I feel awful that I believed the post about him to start with.

If someone does the BCNM time and again to get a drop that they want, why should they then give that drop up for others. As for Dreamie, I have only met her once, and don't know her at all, but she wasn't there, and as such should be kept out of it.

Hi I am from Garuda and I read this as the most current topic being posted under, and I had to stop by and read the drama (Yes I knew there would be drama) and just have a good laugh. Yes, I definitely had a nice laugh. And wtf is up with all the damn socks? Theres like 3 people with 1 post in this **** all defending Xrocko (By the way with a name like Xrocko I wouldnt have even trusted this guy from the get go. Just seems like one of those names you would see a 12 year old use as his AIM name or something). Anywho, good times and good drama. Cheers to your server.

I came back to see the fallout of the Peacock theft and i have one thing to say

dont karma bomb those who disagree with your situation.

Offer proof, offer intelligence, but dont sub-default someone for disagreeing.

karma bomb those 1 post socks though.

this claim of theft would be stronger if u have a screenshot of what happened like the screenshots that were shown when luftig lied about the SH+1 being hacked from him. there are many pipl who would like to ***** someone they dislike on the game by spreading rumors around sites like these to force them to either quit or be excommunicated by a number of players who could someday be a potential pt invite for exp/merit/missions/quests/bcnm/ks. so unless we can get a recorded log on the situation for everyones eyes to see and for the GM to see the terms and rules ur party agreed on before u started the bcnm run. u play on a ps2? use a camera. u dont have a camera? get one for next time it happens.

I've been playing for 3 years now and have had plenty of BCNM pick parties and ones done with LS mates. In all instances it's been your orb your drop, it's just hard to fathom agreeing to "well, you're orb your drop unless a million+ gil item drops, then we all get a cut." I could understand doing that with perhaps friends and/or LS mates, but otherwise that just sounds like a bit of a stretch...

Not saying I don't believe you, I've seen and heard stranger things happen. I will say that I know both Alki and Murph and while this is Murph's first post, perhaps up until now she just hasn't felt passionate enough on a tread to post anything before. Both of them are in my LS and having known Alki for over two years and Murph for over a year I do trust their judgements. It sucks this happened but like others have said before me, chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on.
