Ever since their bloody update I have been unable to use the search function, can't bid on AH, can't zone into certain areas e.g. Boyahda and recently I keep getting d/c. <3 you SE thanks. Anyone else have problems?
from what i've been hearing in LS chat and on team speak its not just you. there are 2-3 people in my LS that have been having that problem and there is a post similar to this one on killing ifrit bismarck forums

Alot of people have been having this problem, the forum=10 of Alla (the main FFXI forum) is flooded with threads about this.
The best solution that people have come up with is to reset your IP address, and to try again. It's annoying, but until SE fixes it...yeah...it's the best they can do.

It's stupid, and definitely them, so I don't know why they're denying it.
I used to have problem like that. Whenever I zone into sky I got r0 so I had to ask friend to move me back to Hall of God.
I tried various ways but none of them help. Finally a GM suggest me to check my router/firewall. I turned off my windows xp firewall and it never happened again.
I dont konw whats everyone's case but its worth to try.

It's not just zoning into areas and R0ing it's also getting search errors over and over again. Anyone else getting this?
I find it extremely convenient that the GM petition service would start having "problems" while a major connection issue for many players is ongoing and "not their fault".
Maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age... but seems they know it's a problem and won't admit it. I'm guessing people will stop having R0 issues right around the same time the GM petition service "problem" is "fixed".

Yeah i made a GM call as i couldnt get into hall of the gods, after 6 hours got a standard reply
"blah blah Checked our side not problem here (only a problem for those PAYING to play)blah blah we understand you are frustrated blah blah Please stop using the GM service as they cant help you"
So 1) no its not their fault (chances are it is), 2) they understand the frustration (chances are they dont), 3)GM cant help you (or it would look like it was out fault, see point 1)
So randomly have to switch off router for 5 minutes when i zone and keep getting booted from the server, still, at least they fixed Aura steal, that was beginning to be a real pain....>.>
