Does anyone go and kill Ixion or know anyone that does? I'm dieing to get my hands on an Azoth and don't really know what is needed as far as party etc. My main is 75 Dancer. I've busted my butt farmin n selling off everything I can to amass about 1.3 mill. I would like to try the run myself,but am also willing to buy one if someone else does. Hopefully a little cheaper.
I was so close to getting one and then the guys with one for sell got the ban-hammer for the Nyzul glitch. So crap. Last person to sell one on AH is

This is really starting to suck.
Unless of course someone wants to go try for the ksnm that drops HeartSnatcher, it sounds cool too lmao, the dagger not the run....

I've almost memorized that lol. So with all the recent Nyzul/Sandworm etc Dupes n crap. Was the Azoth one of the items being duped or? I guess what I'm trying to say is:
I heard that alot of the people that kill Ixion were banned. Is it even worth waiting on now? I certainly cannot solo the Ixion.
I think I may just try and find some folks to do the KSNM that drops Heartsnatcher and break the latent on that if I am able to obtain it.
I really don't want to spend all my hard earned gil on this now, or do I?

Even who may be camping the NM may have been banned, I am sure it will take little time for a new group to fill it place. Azoth cannot be duped itself. It is like any other regular ground king except the difference in spawn area (which makes it unbottable); the items that get duped are from ToAU Assault like battlefields (All TOAU assaults, Sandworm battlefields, and Salvage).
Regardless, you are dealing with something that comes from a competitive HNM. Whether you buy (from the new gang) or go camp, you will be dealing with drama and E-Peen whores. At least... buying from AH or bazaar is one shot thing that you will no or minimal verbal conversation from the seller, trying to get those folks to lower the price or even camping against them... Ha!
I did bought my Azoth from the AH. If you do wish to the best possible price without directly dealing with the-next-Wopa-or-Minidragon, than your patience and insight how the price will change is what you get the lowest price.

Heart Snatcher is crap and should exist only to be NPC'd for 3k~ gil toward buying a dagger that isn't crap.
Just save up and buy the Azoth. On my server at least, Azoth has been rapidly falling in price and is now nearly half the price of a Blau (which is actually slowly rising upward...) -- it shouldn't be too hard to get one that way. Chances are it will be much less headache than forming a group that
1) can actually beat Ixion without much trouble
2) is willing to let you have the Azoth if it drops

Thanks for the responses. I guess I will be patient for now. I noticed 2 more sold on AH site in last 2 days. Not sure how I missed that while camping the site for days, but oh well. Hopefully it will go down, as I really like having gil again. We shall see.
