i got my CoP yesterday, and today went on my first promyvion expidition to holla crag. sadly i failed, thanks to some people ill leave un-named who left on their own for spire holla after the alliance got seperated, instead of returning to raise the other whm's. but in all, it was a good expirance that give me a good grasp of the promyvion areas.
im now looking to for people who would like to join an alliance to attempt promyvion-holla again. i am going to start forming a party around 7pm EST tomarrow evening.
promivian's are part of a CoP mission that mush be completed to gain enterance to the travanzia areas. mea, dem and holla must be cleards, and supposidly then pso xja at a lv40 cap(but im not exactly sure, as iv yet to meat anyone NA whos gotten that far). you just first install CoP, go to delkfutts tower and see the cut sceen, then another sceen in up jueno, another in the infermary, and another in the palace guard house in ru lude gardens.
for a little background, the area has a lv30 cap so you need 30 equips. we much go in balanced partys because the BCNM at the spire isnt fought in an alliance, a minimum of 12(which will likely not end in victory, but its possible), but preferably a full alliance of 18.
each party needs a whm, a rdm or blm(elemental magic usually does nearly no dmg in emptyness), a tank, and at least 2 melee who have ranged weapons. the memory reminents(refered to from here on as orbs) are like a boss for each floor, they do alot of dmg and are best fought wih ranged weapons while melee kills the strays NM's that spawn during the battle. uppon defeating an orb a telepoint appears, warping you to the next "floor".
if you can use a ranged, bring a ranged and alot of arrows. if subbing rng is useful(sam, thf, ect) then do so. bring your food and mages your drinks, this isnt exactly easy. and if you can afford it, buy equipment pieces with the "empty killer" trait, they help dmg alot in emptyness.
there are 4 "floors", then a BCNM at the spire you must fight in a single party(which is why PT's must be balanced). the mobs on the final floor are all IT and require a full alliance to pass through safely. only 12 means dodging everything but the weakest mobs on this floor.
