Isn't it, "A hume, an elvaan, and a galka walk into a bar...and a 'taru walks safely under." ?
I always thought it was:
A SMN, WHM, and RDM are sitting in a bar.
The WHMs glass is low so the WHM says, "Refresh plz."
The RDM proceeds to cast refresh on the WHM's glass.
The SMN points toward his glass and motions for a refresh.
The RDM uses convert and blasts the SMN to smitherins with Fire II.

I was kinda expecting something like:
A mithra walks into a bar and asks the bar tender for a saucer of milk.
The bar tender looks at her with a perplexed look and says "This is a bar we dont serve milk here and why would you want it on a sau..."
The bartender sentence trails off as he notices the tale and says "Oh. That."
