Time to level my THF. :-/Follow

Y'know, leveling THF (even without sub, as in first job) isn't as bad as most people think. I was in a party once (leveling my WAR sub in the Dunes -_-;) that picked up a newly graduated 15 THF because there were no damage dealers seeking. In fact, to his discredit, he was the only person seeking (-_- scary, for the Dunes area,) and my party thought he'd make a decent DD because of SA.
My advice to you (being a first-job THF w/o sub,) would be level THF to 15 solo, if possible, and raise a bit of money, once again, if possible, to get some food, potions, au lait, etc. It's really not that bad, and I've never done this myself, but THF/WHM just MIGHT be good for soloing. Can anyone confirm? Either that, or ask your linkshell for a party for, y'know, a couple of hours. You can easily solo to 15 in La Theine Plateau, Tahrongi Canyon, or Konschtat Highlands (my personal favorite being Tahrongi,) and although there may be some risk involved... hey, if we didn't take risks, there really would be no game would there? ^.^

As far as THF as a DD, I was shocked how much damage that I do. I use the Bilbo +1 sword (I'm not leveling it high enough to worry about SATA+Viper bite) and my SA+Fast Blade does around 120 on ITs. Not bad at all for something that isnt supposed to be a DD until SATA. Plus the pt gets the wonderful TH bonus. We all love extra presents. :-b
