Once again it's me, Omegacloud. Do to the gil seller @#$% that's going on, can anyone please tell me a decent way to make gil ?? I really need to make some gil, and mining isn't cutting it anymore do to those "Luck" bastards ><. If you don't know who I am, I'm a guy that helps tons of people with things such as AFs, missions, hell I even go to different areas and help lower levels party better by killing trains and heal when needed. I would really appreciate it if I can get some feedback, I seriously need it.

Fishing takes a long time to level LOL. I'm getting into crafting, which needs money to start up.

I'm into gardening. It's not the same as a BCMN drop, but it's not too bad...when you're actually able to grow what you're aiming for.
Yeah, beating these SOBs in Gusgen is hard, if you know where to find mining maps (had a link but forgot it, use those and try to set up a pattern to follow, if you usually can't get any mining points, go the other way around to see if it works
I make gil by exploiting and ruining gil farmers in Davoi. If gil farmers are going to camp an NM 24/7, then my LS mates and I are going to camp the same NM 24/7. We literally take shifts camping the mob and making sure we claim it everytime. They run scripts that are definitely not perfect, and they will beat us once in a while. The main concepts in claiming mobs are:
1) Spawn Time
2) Death Time
3) Claim Method: Whether its provoke/steal/charm/stun etc. Make a macro suitable for you, or use another method if you dislike macro's.
4) Positioning
If you can clearly dispose those answers and stay focused, and can press ultra fast (like a couple LS mates can ^_^;) you'll defintely get the mob everytime.
Many people complain about ping time and versing JP's and whatnot. In reality, they do have a slightly better ping time than us NA and since the gil farmers are mainly Chinese based, they will ALSO have a slightly better ping time. But from my experience, I'm able to slaughter them 99% of the time, and thus ruining their career as a gil seller.
*Although I'll tell you one thing...if you're camping against my LS mates, you'll never beat them lol~ I can't even really beat them anymore, and I taught them ><;

LOL, Chinqlinq is giving away LS secrets {/sigh}. But anyways, there's plenty of ways to make gil. Try farming, NM camping, or a craft. Here's some tips: Go to a low LVL zone, where you can kill mobs with ease. And bascially run around killing everything in sight. See what kind of drops you get and if you are satisfied with your haul then continue farming there if not pick another zone. About NM camping its good to fight higher LVL NMs because most of the lower LVL ones have a lot more people camping them. I've also heard of people buying and selling at the AH. I guess the main concept here is buy low sell high. I'm not sure how this works but I would guess you would need multiple characters.

Hey Chinqlinq. :-) I think we need to have a friendly competition some time. Me and Clockworks vs. two of your fastest guys. :-b I still can't remember Haierbaby or Chengang ever beating me to a pull and I'm in Davoi semi-regularly. I actually spent over an hour there helping a 59WHM get an archer's knife. (I guess he's leveling a THF. LoL) Haierbaby came and left when he couldn't get a single pop. I just wish I was a higher level and could solo Poisonhand, or better yet, Mee Deggi. /sigh I still need that f'n kote. Oh well. Yeah they can definitely be beaten. I just need to find the patience to camp Argus. LoL
You could try some other of the HELMs. I think only mining is the ones that has a lot of gil sellers (though, I hear harvesting in Ghelsba can be bad). Or try mining Oldton Movapolis (not sure how good it is there).
