ST Party......want in?Follow

Im going to start a ST party if interested just post back with your job.


BRD OR RDM
NIN/WAR
PLD/WAR
BLM(Brisk)
DRG/SAM(Grandtarupimp)
WHM(Kharool)


Requirments:

1) must be one of the required jobs
2)must be able to play 2-3 hours on weekdays and 4-5 hours on weekends (prolly not going to play everyday thow)
3)must be lv 10

dont need rdm ill have fenrir at lv one and he shows up any rdm and i dont want noobs in the st party that why i got advancd jobs

Just curious, but how does Fenrir show up an RDM? Maybe in the damage category yeah...maybe...(I haven't seen the damage inflictions yet since they have boosted your avatars up)

But if you're implying that Fenrir's bloodpacts show up an RDM's ability to debuff I think you're wrong. I haven't played my SMN for a while but I seem to remember bloodpacts taking 1-2 minutes recast time. An RDM can have the prey debuffed in a matter of 45 seconds.

Fenrir certainly doesn't have any ability to cast Refresh. I hope your WHM at least has SMN subbed so that it gets better on the MP refreshing at 50.

These are the exact reasons I never invited SMN's to my parties past lvl 40 or so. They just don't have a "place" in a party unless you count them as the 2nd DD. The don't debuff as quick as an RDM can nor do they refresh, and their buffs are weak compared to a BRD. It's a "tweener" job class to me.

And I wonder why my poor Monk self doesn't get parties? Sadly, some of the worst "Noobs" that I've played with have been people with advanced jobs.

Agreed, I've seen waaaay too many noobs with advanced jobs, it's not like it takes a lot of hard work to complete the advanced job quests

You fail to notice that MNK's attack twice, and hits alot more then a DRK. When i played MNK, i was hitting for 50-60dmg per fist, more when i had berserk on. Then you got double attack, so you can attack 4 times, thats 240~dmg, then a kick.
With that many specialattack, MNK's past 50 avarage 3 attacks per turn.

DRK's.. some got Double attack, but its so rare that they will hit both, so its out of the question ^^ and if they do, 100+100=200~dmg.

I always outdamaged the DRK's i played with, they must have been really really bad then, since i was missing some of the best MNK gear.

And MNK, SAM in the same DD category... you are kidding? SAM doesent do any dmg, they do Skillchains.

and RNG is melee DD, and i have outdamaged those to. Only times i didnt do enough damage, was against IT++ beetles, but everyone got that problem.

But now i stoel this thread and made it into a MNK Love thread^^ i just dont like when people got no idea what mnk is. A subjob for war to level 30 isnt enough.

If you have leveled to 70+ to be able to kill Fenrir you should know what a good party setup is?

I really suggest you xp in regualar parties until at least 50 or 60 so you learn the game.. It isnt very good having a static with people that dont know how to play.

i just wonder why people bother saying which job is useless or useful. or which job is better than another. the jobs aren't meant to be fair. ;) just play the one you're most interested in? or if you're like me, you play them all, funds willing that is.
