Hiyas.^^ My name is Avela. 37 Bard. (I got it last night.) I am halfway to 38. :)
I was curious if there was any kind of a "union" for bards. I was in Crawlers' Nest last night and a Bard came up to me and traded with me.
He typed, "Please accept. No gil, welcome aboard." He gave me flint caviar and pies. That was so nice. I thanked him tremendously. Later I tried typing to him and he logged out.
Is there a group of bards that get together? I noticed with other jobs there are. I would love to join a "Bard Union."

well to my knowledge some people are straight out friendly and will help even without a cause or reason. Best thing to do is not question it and just thank them ^^. Although if there is a bard union that would be cool. Then again you can always look up in alla for your daily bard needs in the bard forums.
