Sarr, see ya in WoW. I was in the final stress test and OB. It was lots of fun. However, I can't start WoW at realease due to marrige. I guess thats a little more important than gaming. Either way, it does suck to see the poisoned apples, ruin the game for the rest of 'em.
I would've made a serious, totally fake thread about my utter disgust for this game and it's company, but I don't think I should share my thoughts. If there are any friends from those whose last words weren't 'save some gil for me! lol, oh and ehm.. why you quitting?', you can always find me in WoW forums.. But not that much, until the game is fully released I won't give much of my time talking about the game as that will make me want it more, and staying in FFXI forums will just make me want to die more.

It might seem sad that many people are leaving this game due to whatever personals or in-game reasons, but just keep in mind that you are leaving this Mmorpg to go to another one, and eventhough the experience at the beginning might be phenomenal, eventually, the same people or system that you might be escaping from here will find its way there too, so after all happiness there might be short lived too.
I remember how fun it used to be when I started my Ps2, popped the cd tray, loaded my FFX, or whatever game and instantly it became my own little world, where I went at my own pace and the rules around were mine, lol,...........I guess that same principle could never be applied to Mmorpg, since an enormous gathering of people only translate into one simple equation = Money to be made, and there always a few or a lot to take advantage of that.
Anyway, there's no reason not to go, but just keep in mind that whatever might have happened here is bound to happen there too, good luck on your new endeavors and keep having fun.

The reason I'm quitting doesn't basicly have to do with the game. Also the people, the system, the simple depression and being sick and tired of getting **** out of a months work and playing (which btw is no longer fun). And I'd rather try again on another game and have fun for at least a while, instead of staying on a game I hate for absolutely no reason.
