Alright, i'm in a pt in Crawlers Nest right now, and im taking a afk break to tell u about what just happened to me, our pt was doing awesome in my eyes, 1.5k in little under half an hour is a good thing isnt it?
anyways the pt is as follows, Rectiene BRD, Azaron Whm, Dslayer RDM, Anemos MNK, Nana..something War, and Me DRG, so we were goin along, the people who lvld were Nan and rec, and so rectiene says she has to go, so she disbands, anyways heres the part where i lost it: Azaron says that we "Havent met his standards" even tho that if we kept going we would prolly have gotten 3k in an hour, which is good, so i send him a tell saying why? so he says again, Not enough Xp, i said we got 1.5k in under an hour??, so he says that hasnt met my standards. so now im pretty p/o'd because im also like 1.8k tnl, so i said well, good luck finding a pt then, this isnt a static, so if you were looking for one you chose wrong *NOTE i actually controlled myself up till now and didnt curse at all!*
so anyways like 30 seconds later he's standing there out of pt saying tele to mea holla and dem, so i said why are u still here? he said im going, i said apparently not, he said yes i am, so...i say so then get the hell outta here and stop wasting space, which is where i did lose it...srry.. and then i get a message from rectiene saying that i havent changed a bit, and i should have been blisted from something in S gusta..which i donno about, and The kazham incident, so i told her what he said, and so she said that she was making him leave because of me, so i said what did i do? the only way i can change something is by knowing what to change, and she said that im a jackass and again that she should blist me.
I'm saying this now, because i dont need her comming on and bending the storyline, also i asked anemos if i was too hard on the whm, and he said that he was trash talking first, so if im the bad guy here so be it, but then get a warning, that if ur looking for a static pt, say so, because he just up and left, and rectiene apparently left without a time warning to do something else in game..
Sorry if i've repeated anything or it didnt make sense, but im still in that pt, and decided to come on my comp and write this,

Kind of a hot topic....there's a fine line between what you consider good xp and getting along with other players.
Honestly 1.5xp an hour isn't really that great, but you're also lvl 37 and if you're in a typical camping spot like crawlers you might be maxing your xp out there at 1.5 an hour. A good party that works well together will usually get 3k-4k an hour and maybe more.
I've stepped out of some parties before because I wasn't making any xp. I like to use my time to the best I can in the game and I can make money or do quests or other things in the hour instead of being in a dead party. So I can see where the guy is coming from....I won't say it's right but it's not wrong either.

Recetiene or however it's spelled is a very selfish player.
Although I never partied with him/her one incident that upset me tremendously was about 2 months ago when I was sort of on Raise duty at Dunes. I was running around the area close to Konschat Highlands and I see several shout spams from him/her something along the lines of "looking for party level 9/4 SMN/WHM". This made me very mad, because quite frankly nobody should stick there noses there under level 11, not even the desperately needed WHM's (and yes there are nights where there are 11 WHM's LFP, and not a single tank can be found).
I don't know why, but for some reason I had this strange desire to keep tabs on him/her. For 20 minutes she/he would spam their shout for party. After that time, and cleaning up a link for a party, I noticed the shouting has stopped. I do a search for him/her and notice she/he is leader of party.
This upset me even more.
Not only was she/he in a place where her/his low levelness didnt belong, but he/she was making other people suffer by forcing herself/himself onto the party and lack of skills. I kept a note of their camp, and made sure to pass by it every 5 minutes on my runs.
Not only did it take forever for them to kill things, but they ended up dying several times, and having to HP. At one point they didnt HP and I ended up raising them, when they were waiting for a raise (they didnt even bother before - i guess they started to tire of doing HP). For at least TWO hours, this stupid SMN is level 9, when he/she could have been 11 from soloing in the damn Highlands. I guess at some point he/she did level to 10, and ended up disbanding from his/her party immediately, since I saw her/his name colored white as in not in party, and her/his party still were together. Ever since then, I decided to hate him/her.
I see him/her on occassion, and it always seems like they're ******** their party over (like when I was camping in Eastern Altepa and he/she died near anticans where they would aggro upon her/his raise, but still waited for his/her party to somehow save him/her).
I don't know how they play but Rectiene is known for ******** their party over and over again, so Sheppard you really shouldnt worry too much about this.

<hmmmm> I always take my jobs to the dunes at level 10. Don't know why it would make you mad enough to stalk someone if they did it too.
Tonight I took my level 9 (deleveled on the boat) Smn to the dunes and within an hour got to level 11.5 fighting liz's and Gobs near M-10.
Do a /sea all Valkurm Dunes and you will find alot of people lfg there at level 10.

Actually, she is right, I remember not going there until lvl 12, because i had heh..the high lvl of the time, lvl 16-20 friends who told me not to, that they stilled died there, and
so i didnt, nowadays, there are a lot of people that are lower lvl in the dunes, and still shouldnt be, but they're there anyways, at lvl 9-11 theres still things EM in the dunes, which is usually a lot faster then a pt in the dunes because of all the stolen mobs, and the zoning links but the lvl is bare minimum 10, and btw >.> being lvl 9 because u dlvld would get u to 10 pretty fast again, but just getting to 9 and going is a bit different.

Yes, the first time I ever got to the dunes it was unheard of to go there at anything less than 12, before then it was worms in the maze or dhamels, if you were from windy. But that was a over a year ago and trends change alot.
I have been through the dunes 7 times now with the only classes that went there anything over 10 were blm(my original class) and thf (simply because it was too hard to get a party) Yes, it can be VERY frustrating partying there @10-12 because many new players still don't have a grasp on there jobs.
Anwser? Don't join a party if the melees are no subjob/rank 1. Support at this level dosen't have to be rocket scientists because theres only about 2-3 things they can do (cure 1, dia/blind, paryl) But if you can't make some semblence of a SC then yeah you are better off just soloing to 11-12.
The reason I mentioned I was level 9 even though I didnt go there @ level 9 was to point out that maby the person Windymage followed around did the same thing. I dunno, I just posted because I had literally just gotten done there about 5 minutes before I read this post and thought it was funny.

If we're not supposed to be there @ 10-11 then why are the Lizs and Gobs near M-10 so easy giving 100-180 xp to a party of 6? Soloing Summoner SUCKS (not as bad as thf but still...)and there is no way that I could have made the same xp myself as fast.

ur also fogetting a lotta people in the dunes are experianced players now, comming back to lvl a new job, and if u have a lvl 25-30 job, u know what the hell a pt's spose to do now, i remember when i hit the dunes the thf was spazzing out at me at once point for moving with an SA because i didnt know what the hell it was, didnt know how to set a macro if my life depended on it, and had to find out the hard way, why level 19's dont fit in lvl 14 pt's, but now a lot more people there have their subs, and go for the sake of something new, making pt's a lot easier.
Wow... this sounds familiar. Sounds like something that happened to me about a month back. Here's what happened:
I was trying to be nice and help LS members do the rank 3/3 mission for rank 4. and we had a large group already, and so we just decided to have fun and invite some high level friends to just ablitirate the place -which was extremely fun untill we got to the top lvl then all hell broke lose ><-. well i invited my lvl60 rdm friend poombala, and my 62 mnk friend Icey, and he in turn invited Riemeia his fiance lvl63 whm. Well we were having fun untill we reached the top floor. then someone -we have no idea who- went the wrong way and i didn't have a map so i was just following lol. but we went wrong way and hit those IT's up there and all just go masacred. well i told everyone that i was sorry, and sent a tell to riemeia and icey that i was extremely sorry -not to poombala cuz she went the right way and was alive lol, i thanked her though- anyways rie dlvls and i say sorry TWICE -keep note of how many times i say sorry....-. then about 30 minutes -we're still dead by the way waiting for raises- and we've sent about 50 billion messages over party chat. and then out of no where rie starts cussing me out and calling me a **** saying "u know u little ****, its not nice to not apologize for all this ****" OK 2 things, 1- IT WASN'T MY FAULT SHE DIED, 1 SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO COME, AND 2 I TRIED MY BEST TO KEEP HATE OFF I WORE MY MP DOWN TO NOTHING AND USED ALL MY ABILITIES AND 2 HR FOR GOD SAKES I CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH WITH A FREAKIN IT, AND IT WOULD'VE BEEN NICE IF I HAD GOTTEN A ******* HEAL FROM HER NOW AND THEN ><- and 2 HELLO?! DID I MISS SOMETHING?! i sent her a "sorry" message ******* twice!!! and then she cusses me out for NOT apologizing?! i'm just baffled... she says she scrolled up and looked to see if i said sorry and that she didn't see.... ok 1 thing, NO **** I SAID IT ABOUT LIKE ******* 30 MINUTES PRIOR AND BEFORE THESE 50 BILLION MESSAGES, i don't freakin no if some of u high levels know that after a certain amount of messages the chat log begins to cut the oldest messages off from chat log. So basically she has me blisted and wouldn't listen to me the next day when i was trying to say i'm sorry and stuff. and she also called me an *** because -after we were all raised and stuff and only one person needed help and we had the mnk and **** left and the stuff between them and the objective was easy crap- i said i had to leave cuz i needed to do homework. i had said earleir in pt "guys i need to go badly, almost bedtime and i need to do homework" and the guy -clifford- said it was ok. so i jetted off and was about to logged and somehow she got a LS pearl and started ******** at me over LS. so anyways, some people are just ******* who PMS too much and don't know most of the time wtf they are talking about. sorry that this was so long lol ^^.
