Gil sellers player/LS listFollow

I got through to a GM after a mess up happened (lagged and got stuck) and again asked about the gil sellers, and he said the best thing to do is probably get a list of people who are suspected of gil selling and LS as well, so what we pretty much need is a list of people, I have a list of a few so far

Seriously, a list of these morons may help SE realize how much of a problem this has become on our server as well as others, I don't see anyone else comming up with ideas

The funny thing about all this is that the gill sellers may jack up the price of something, but we still buy it.

Snipers ring prices have gone up alot. Why not jus not buy them for abit and watch the price fall due to supply and demand?

I mean, if all the gil sellers flood the market with archers rings, common sense will say that the price will drop.

But people dont really care. They either put more time into gettin the gil to afford the items, or buy the gil to afford it.

I really don't see what the problem with gil sellers is. It's not like if they are the only people camping the NMs, and frankly there are alot of people that can claim the NMs over them. Now I know that gil sellers to tend to jack up the price of things but then the second the price goes down on something that a person is selling they whine and complain about undercutters. People just want everything and I find it pretty annoying. This is just the way economics works. People just need to learn to deal with the gil sellers. If they are camping the NM that you want learn more about the NMs such as spawn rates, locations. Work on provoking methods try different things. You can try to MPK them for all I care. Just please stop complaining here.

First off the GM's are just making us, you, whoever run in circles. They will do nothing about gil sellers. Even with hard proof of someone selling gil to another player isn't enough. Trust me I have hard proof. The person who got banned was the buyer; the seller is still around.

The GM's are coming up with excuse after excuse and will tell you what they need. You can make this list. I garuntee next time you call a GM he will say "Thank you **** I will make sure this information is investigated by our legal team that we (Supposedly) have hired to investigate the gil sellers."

Next time you call they will tell you they need something different. I have given GM's logs, times, dates, places, people, clans, and linkshells of gil sellers with verifiable proof and these gil sellers still remain.

Either way, we can't let them get to us. Jingirl asked my whm to pt with them in the nest recently. I told her 100k if she wanted me to pt with them. She asked "Why" I told her she's a gil seller and if she wants help lvling she will have to pay. Needless to say she never responded. ::laughs:: In the grotto the gil selling rat mining point thiefs used to stress me to the point where I would have to log off. Now I know the miners use hacks, speed hack namely one, which results in them having no animation when mining. So from the ones that have stressed me to near insanity I now steal from them, follow them and /cheer, /point, /laugh, /em punts <t> over the great wall. /s (Thank you) for (**** Ore). Oh they get so mad, I think it's cause I might mess up their hack when I steal back from them.

Sorry for the long post.. but here is some additions to you list. Some I may be wrong on if so.. oh well you shouldn't steal from me and learn some ettiquitte. I used to have a complete list when a GM asked me but I lost it.

CN Clan .. can't remember most of their names but they camp stroper alot.

Corrderio.. sorry if I came across as mean in any way. It's just I was so mad at the gm's because I DID give them proof of Donatius selling gil to :Buyername:. The buyer, who I want to not say his name, even admitted to me in /tells that he purchased gil from :such and such place: and that donatius was the deliverer. I provided the GM with this and nothing was done.

If you check out cannotlinkto's website, there's a new gilseller in town...Moog or soemthing like that.

Just get over the gil seller thing. It's too big to actually be able to shut down. The only thing SE can do is change the availability maybe of the items.

With one swift patch they could make 15 things drop items such as the peacock charm, but they refuse to do so. If you think the developers don't have a stake in controlling some portion of gil selling you're dead wrong. And SE, just like everything else that people has complained or moaned about, has refused to listen. I have to say this is a poorly operated development team that they have going. It has been one of the worst customer support experiences out of any game I have played just because of their refusal to listen to anyone basically (and I'm not a whiner about gil but I'm talking as the game as a whole). Go over to OOTP Baseball or some game like that and see the vast contrast of how the developers actually speak in the forums. There's never been anything like that for FFXI. Great game but poor support of it.

as for the gil sellers, there's more and more popping up everyday. I think the problem is too large and spreading to be solved. I know of at least 6 sites that sell gill from FFXI now.
