That's your recourse for trying to take the shortcuts. Personally, I will not gamble /random in FFXI... it's just retarded, pointless, and who's to say you can trust the other individual? Needless to say, Necrid gave back the 32k... whether that's how much was initially bet, or if that is double what was initially bet, the better still got some gil back. Necrid didn't HAVE to give it back. The better going to report it to a GM if Necrid doesn't? I don't think so... cause a GM can't do anything about it.
As for the stories I've heard on this thread, they paint a more clear image of Necrid... sounds like he is a lonely basement dweller who feels unconfident about him/herself to the point he/she needs to lie to others to feel more accepted. This is known as being a compulsive liar and it is a habit/illness that is not easy for the individual to over come. It saddens me when I see these people because it is the simple fact they're trying too hard that pushes me away from them.
Also, sounds like a childish prick. Flooding shouts about someone else selling items at rediculously cheap prices... he couldn't think of anything better? he couldn't have just let "it" pass... whatever it may be, in this case it sounds like nothing and/or prior experiences. I'd say hopefully he'll find a life soon enough and spare us... but something tells me we'll be putting up with his childishness for quite some time ; ;.

Thought i would also let you guys know what Necrid currently has a mule called Dingleberries and is probably more offensive on him as it isn't ruining his reputation as much. However he quite often changes he mule, so be on the look out.

Ive had many run ins with Necrid LordAndrew and Iceicebaby. Personally i think they are all very immature. Just today i got the great satisfaction of pwning Necrid many times in ballista. Im not the type to blist people seeing as how ive only blisted 2 people in the whole 8 months ive been playing but all i have to say is ignore their immature words and use reverse psychology on them just be nice and ignore all their stupid crap.

Tainted, keep asking for your money back and bugging him. You did nothing wrong yet he's trying to make you look bad to your friends. If you don't end up getting your money back then at least have the pride of putting another bad comment next to his name.
