As far as crabs, I've actually been puting a pretty good smack down on them with a RNG, DRK (using GSD), or SAM. Impaction does wonders on those lil buggers and Raging Fists isn't too hateful of a closer. :-b My Venerer Ring has made a pretty big difference on connect %.

Jacky that would be GREATLY appreciated! I'm dying to wear my Temple Cyclas. I really don't understand the problem. I keep up in damage with my DoT (except RNG of course), I can do SCs with just about anyone, keep my gear up to date and use good food. Oh the life of the misunderstood monk. :-/

Ahhh, but I don't get Blade Madrigal until 51, and that's a long way from 42 (you're stuck with Sword Madrigal in the meantime). As an Elvaan monk, I'm sure you must love that song!

I was in a party last night where a monk (outside of party) sat there and laughed at us. The party was completely horrible in just about every single way. The only reason I stayed was because this monk (Soggybiscuit) kept me laughing hysterically. I've basically decided that anybody that can manage to take monk to a decent level HAS to have a good sense of humour -- god knows what they go through isn't easy.

CoP Chapter 3 BCNM fight in Pso'Jxa with Diablos (crosses fingers she can get enough people up today to farm Jewels to go do the BCNM)
I sold my very first big ticket item and got to keep all of the proceeds: Amemet Skin =D So with 250,000 gil I am PLing my Clothcraft as far as I can ^_^ I technically could buy another Elemental Staff...but crafting is much more interesting to me =) And I wanna get to where I can make Shinobi-Tabi and Wool Thread and start doing guild points :D
