A fellow swedish inmate.... Eh, I mean FFXI player recently told me he saw me online.. And that had a big WTF all over it.. Some ******* is impersonating me and making me look bad....-der than I looked before..
Anyways, this guy is probably a level 1 character with a diffrent handle.. It's not me, I'm not in game and if the guy I think it is isn't online in a while, I'll know it's him since I ****** his computer up.

A) Some people have similar names, mabey they made the mistake of thinking it was you

dude, it's a game, it's an alias, and you're not even playing anymore... so BFD what people in cerberus think of you... how many of them will you talk with again? And for those you do talk with again, I think an easy explination of: "No, I left long time ago, I dunno wtf that was." would do the trick.
To be honest, SE keeps a characters name for 90 days after account deletion. After that, someone can pick that name once again. I remember one day, months after I had not seen my IRL friend in game, I see his name. I wave, "she" waves back. I send a tell and call my friend at the same time.. Two seperate people, one common name. It's not all that rare after getting hundreds of thousands of people together. Chances are there's another Krem or Nebz on another server. My roommate plays EQ2 and already saw a Krem on his server... yet I'm not getting in a fluster.

First of all, I DO care when someone not only has my characters name, but is supposedly some guy I hate in game and is trying to make what used to be me, LOOK BAD!
Second, the reason I made this thread, which any unbraindamaged fellow would realize, is to tell you in advance that some prick is messing with me, and that I'm gone.
Third, I'm on these boards because I'm still part of allakhazam whether you believe me or not.
Fourth, obviously I do care and obviously people still talk to me, how else would I find out about this? Theres's clearly nothing good about someone pretending to be you and acting like an idiot..
So I'm gonna say this once more.. If you see a Sarrsari in game, even if it's just a nice little kid who just happened to pick my birth nickname (Sari IRL name + Sarrsari = arabic for Thug) and play nice, just know that it's not me, and possibly a loser messing with me. COMPRENDE?

What we all don't understand is why you still care about your reputation on FFXI if you no longer play. I could understand if you were just taking a very long break, but being gone and done with FFXI, yet still caring about what others think of you is confusing to me.

It's easy to see why people's first replies to your thread are like they were when you have ceased to play FFXI and still care about what other FFXI'ers think. You really do need to get over it and move on. Not saying that you shouldn't be posting on Alla, that's fine. Just saying that you're done with FFXI, get over it. Pure and simple.

So the weeks go by, and my Linkshell makes it a game to harass the poor guy, and there have been a few incidents where he was begging for gil in Lower Jueno.

If you wanted to come back later on for some unknown reason, then maybe you should say, i wanted to come back, but if my reputation(or wats left of it from what u describe) is SHOT then you have a problem, until that time, you dont belon with anything to do with FFXI, comming on here is different because of friends, but in game should mean **** all to you
