Hmmm... i've grown weary of the existence of an 'in' crowd on the server... and fairly soon i will probably forsake the group experience and my redmage job for my beastmaster job, and play solo for the rest of my final fantasy experience.

I'd like your thoughts on this.

There's an "in" crowd?

Seeing that you are top lvl, or close to it, I am guessing the pool of players up there is much smaller.

If you are unhappy there, you can either go solo with BST or start a new job. All the rest of the players are down here with lwr lvls, so you are bound to make new friends and see new faces. That is, if you have the patience for us newbies ;)

Well, you know it's not all about experience. Once you hit 75, then what?

Personally, I have a couple goals in the game that once I've met, I may consider canceling my account altogether. This probably makes some people sad, but at some point I just have to move on in my life. I may be able to keep in touch with some people through other means still.

Have you thought about what exactly you want to get out of the game? I know one of my goals is to try and get to all the zones. With the release of CoP, that makes the challange even harder. *Sigh* Promvy, here I come I guess.

hold up, you're 59? GREAT! i need a 59 RDM friend who knows what he's doin. LOL. though you'll be continuously getting competition from other great RDM friends i've met along the way. ;)

jokes aside, it's your life in FFXI. i don't think people can make the decision for you, but i heard that a lot of BST quit in the end too cos they still need help for many of the quests (e.g. AF).

seeing that you've already done G1,2,3, i don't think you'll have any real problem getting to 65 as a BST. however, i suggest keeping your rdm items on a mule or something in the event that BST proves too much. it's not an easy job at all from what i've heard, and it takes 2 times as long, usually, to lvl until you get 'leave' and form bst duo-parties. maybe a read on the bst forums would be more insight?

Are you saying you'd rather xp alone or just play the game by yourself?

If it's the latter, then the question must be asked: Why pay a monthly fee for a MMoRPG and then play it by yourself?

If it's the former well BST is good times from what some of my LS mates say...Although quite a few of them prefer to team up.

Actually morn from what i have heard from one of my LS members who is lvl 75. He told me around 50 and on you dont want to give yourself a bad reputation(especially if you are a highly sought after job) People will remember you, they will note you down wether or not to party with you again. I suggest making a name for yourself and reminding people that you wont mind pting with them again. If all else fails i dont see nothing wrong with BST except IMO it seems like a lonely road no one to depend on but yourself (actually that sounds like a good idea ^_^)
