OMG... Six times now. ; ;Follow

Six times now I've deleveled from lvl 39 smn to a lvl 38 smn... and I'd just like to start buy thanking the party I had that left me right on the edge of lvl 39 when they disband upon my obtaining of a level... that meerely set me up for my 2 first delevels tho.

My next two delevels came at the fault of myself in some unlucky bcnm's. Next one came just a couple night ago when I was on the first floor of promy holla with my LS mates. I got my level back and a hundred exp or so and as I was looking around (after my party zoned) I got agro'd by a stray. I know now I should have taken it... but then it was my first time in there and I was being chased by a mob that was "Impossible to gauge". Needless to say, it linked and I got other agro. I couldn't zone out... kept skipping the scene (question asking if I want to leave). Died and deleveled.

Finally, tonight makes #6.

I spend my first hour of the night solo'ing ep's in rolanberry while I look for a party. Finally I get a tell and I'm almost tnl. I join the party and get to the CN. We're fighting beetles and the pld is our puller and tank. This means no chains. :\. I'm ok with that as long as I'm having fun tho.

Puller brings back a beetle and a link. I begin to cast shiva to use sleepga (just recently re-obtained lvl 39). After I use my bloodpact, the beetles name goes purple and shiva's stuck in that charge up state. The beetle is still hitting me. I look around to see who's beetle it is, and expect the beetle to redirect it's hate at any time... but it doesn't. At least not until I die first.

Apparently, what had happened is they used a range attack to "pull" the link. However, the beetle agro'd me while I was resting when the puller first got back and the range attack missed. So... since there was no damage done, no hate was transferred from me... however, since they did shoot at it, it became claimed and I was helpless against it. I was less than happy at this point.

Then I notice someone dies from their party... and someone in my party exclaims one of them hit a caveberry. They're only fighting one caveberry so I am helping the rest stay alive with the weakened mp I had. After they killed it, I'm getting attacked.. by a caveberry... wtf? I didn't take hate from the caveberry they were fighting... but I guess I did.

A member from the party that I had expressed my dishappiness with pulled it off me just in time and my whm healed me to 100% weakened HP (didn't have astral's on at the time). Same process ensues and I'm helping keep them alive. I'm casting cure with marginal room for range... if they took a step back, it'd kill the cure. Then pow! The caveberry hits an AoE attack and down goes Nebz with that lovely depressing buzzing noise.

I guess it's time for a break... maybe when I come back my luck will have changed... and eh... just had to rant about the massive BS. I really truely wish the other party would have just used provoke to pull it off... would have saved us all the trouble that ensued.

Once you get past the bump in the road (that being lvl 39) Im sure things will improve. Sometimes people get stuck at a certain point and bad things seem to persist. But ive faith your luck will turn around for that job and level. ^ ^

Yeah I made the mistake of going to Dynamis Windurst with only 4000xp into level... There were many Banigaru falls to level 74... not fun at all ;; but keep in there, i've had many bad unbalanced xp parties and I'd rather ignore them then put up with it, because in the long run its just going to keep being the same thing. People have to learn to play the game right and they might as well start.
