Well, this is just a word of Warning on Deomonic, 2nd time he has done this to me, and 2nd time he has done his trick to my LS mate on a different occasion.....
There we are Exping in boyada Tree, we party for about 2 hours, pretty decent party, and pretty decent Exp, well at one point Deomonic waits for thf (Huy) to pull and Deomonic decides to Escape party for no reason and leave THF there alone, right after that he warps and logs out...... nothing at all went wrong during PT, no one gave him a reason to do that, i guess he decided that we didnt deserve any more exp for the night, well unfortunately that was Deomonics 2nd chance, he has done that to me before, and after talking to an LS mate i learn that he has done that to Huy also 2 times now, i kinda wish i knew his drive.
Well next time you see Deomonic looking for a party, or you see Deomonic in your party please remeber this post.

hmm. nothing went wrong... where to start lol.. from the start i'd wanted to log off and sleep, but the pty leader actually paid me 20k G to stay on so u guyz could get exp on the condition that when the party was over i'd log imediately. and frankly in 90 min of exping, i made 1k exp.. >> i think our best exp was a chain of 3 for 175 lol << yea very good party -.-
mind u. i did lose exp when i died, so idk how much exp the rest of u got, <i'm the whm by the way, for those of u reading this that don't know> and huy was the stupid thf pulling 1. when i had no mp 2. while i was still weakened after my death O.O yea he actually kept pulling, even sata'd me at one point, thankfully we had a good pld who managed to pull hate off of me <hp was at 84> so almost a second death because of that lol, but frankly idc i was dead tired and when the 90 min i'd promised the party leader ran out and he was ready to log also i said escape ; ; might have just been to him in /t idk i was dead tired man, and hit my escape macro, what's the thf do when i start casting, run off and pull lol, so he didn't get hit with the escape and was left behind, it's not like he died and the pty was loosing me newayz so who cares..

lol i honestly don't remember, i've more important things to remember than a thf i pty with once in a while, i can say that in the party in boyada tree he spent halve the time whining for haste >> looks at frederz the rdm that wouldn't haste him :P << and don't look at me cause i spent halve the time under 300mp haste wasn't one of the things i was worried about, the only time i cast haste in that party was to counter slow, and only cause erase's recast is too damn long lol >,<
well newayz all this ranting/raving shyz is hella boring, lol i'm goin to go back to playing the game. warn ppl/hate me all you want i really don't care :P lol just w/e leave it outa exping, if we ever pty again be civilized about it and either leave the pty right away cause u can't stand me or just deal and let's get some exp ^^ take care >> sry if halve of this lol or all of it's unorganized and barely understandable :P <<

wow...1k exp in 90min... i think i could solo better than that... And if the thf ran off and missed the excape than thats his or her own problem. and if i get it right u said u lost 2k exp? wow i would of left right away...well depends what lvl are u guys if ur 60+ losing 2kexp is like dying once so wouldnt be so bad.
Besides that being a rambling mess, I'll offer up one bit of advice:
When it comes to xping, you need to act accordingly. If you're the white mage of the party (I'm guessing you were - I'm pretty sure you said that in your post) or rather anything in a party, you don't decide to escape everyone if you're going to leave and log. That's just . . . a horrific decision.
Second of all, if you were tired then you should stop playing and go to sleep. Simple as that. Around level 50 and such you should at LEAST dedicate two hours or so to staying with a party and xping. And if not two hours then have someone ready to replace you when you do need to leave. If the party isn't working out like you want it to, look for a replacement and inform the party.
Just please - I hate it when people just LEAVE the party. FFXI is a game of cooperation. You need to not only think about yourself but you need to think about others, i.e the party you're leaving without having a whm and you not looking for a replacement for yourself. If you can't find a replacement at least tell your party you've been looking for ___ long and you can't find one. Just don't leave and log. That's inconsiderate.

Half of what Deomonic saying is a lie, only true part is that "he was sleepy", lol, well ok i ll give a new advice: "make sure that when you party with Deomonic he is not sleepy or he will leave with out notice or might even randomly Escape you (without notice)".

If it wasn't for a Bar-elementra, bar-statusra, pro/shell, or some other type of buff that others need, I blame him for the SATA landing and I also hate him for making my job heckish >_>

no actually i had it up, which is rare for me, i don't like to slow down many parties with the 200 mp cost unless i expect to die, i'll usually just suck it up with a raise 1 from the rdm, i dont' like it but meh it doesn't happen too often

thats a really stupid reason, Anytime you enter a zone with monsters that can aggro and kill stupid party members you should ALWAYS have Reraise up, and the 200 MP isn't going to hurt you or your XP party. And if you had it up, then there is no way/reason you should have lost so much xp. No one to blame but yourself there >.>

Im with you on the reraise thing.. im only a whm 56 but i try to always have reraise up.. ya never know when the chit will hit the fan.. for instance last nite I was lvling in Boyahda tree when for some reason I became a tank for the crawler lol..and I died.. we had no rdm or blm with whm sub so we would have had to rely on other parties in there to raise me. Gaining the 150 mp lost to cast reraise can be done very quickly. I usually do it at the end of a chain.. or when someone does a brb. I do it and pop a juice or rdm does refresh and its gained back very quickly. I have been in parties where everyone has died.. and if I didnt have reraise on we would have all had to hp or wait for someone to walk by lol

I am a level 70 blm, and whenever I go solo'ing for items or farming or whatever reason, even if im in town, I always always have Reraise on, and it lasts 1 hour, reraise 2 costs 200mp? so basically for 1 minute of resting you get 1 hour of protection from losing an as* load of xp. To me thats not a smart decision to go ANYWHERE without it on, espically xping. im a blm and in xp pt's with a whm I still throw on reraise. To me and a few other people from what I read, going into an xp pt without it on is no ones fault but your own, and complaining about it is making it worse on you.
thinking about Deomonic gives me flashbacks of Lordandrew....

I was told about this thread when it was first posted from a friend. I wanted to wait until Deo had a chance to say his position. I know Deo far more than Fred, but both none the less. Only those that were in the party can really speak about what happened. I just want to say that both people in this situation seem to think the other is 'lying' in one way or another.
Deo ... you need to sleep more man. If the money was that important you should do other things to make it. Dont do things that put other people lives there in jeopardy. If you want to run around without reraise and take on Too Weak enemies and bear whitness to the true power that is WHM, no one will stop you from deleveling to 1. I think Deo is a stand up guy, but I believe Fred that he escaped suddenly. I have no doubt that Deo has his own justifications and motivations for acting as he did. Fred, thank you for the heads up. Its always good to know when people do shady things. My only response would be bring it to peoples attention in more of a strickly informative way. Try to reserve your feelings about the situation or towards Deo aside. It makes all that is to be said far more convincing.

i agree. deo is one of my best frieands and we have known each other since my newbie days and he has been major help in how far ive come in this game. all around deo is a funny and great person.

Short (hopefully lol) and sweet.
1. the seer's equip is just what i feel i look better in, (i like walking around with the laid back look compared to the sissy look of whm af lol) anyone's exp'd at all or know me know's i carry both that and full af gear, dark/light staff, cure clogs on me at all times for a quick macro swap. actually exp in seer's gear not in a long time lol.
2. thank you to everyone who commented . "noobcake" "frederz is a moron" are just clasic lol i'll still be laughing when i'm done typing this out. but seriously just run into me in game some time, don't take the opinion's of some strangers about me, everyone so far i've seen in game seems to be taking that round and i'd like to encourage others to do the same not just for me but for others that'd been "flamed" or w/e the lingo is nowadayz (and yea this includes ignoring my personal opinion on frederz and huy :P)
3. reraise.. i'll be frank, i've never needed it solo i've no problem anywhere avoiding aggro at any level and never have since i've gotten sneak/invis and that was quite a long time ago. pty's don't like downtime, for any reason, and yes i've had the odd complaint about casting reraise in a few parties b4 some ppl do care. i've actually had someone (not naming a name) ***** at me saying "what ?!? you don't trust this party" and ranted on for a few min. not everyone will tolerate it, especially with most parties having a rdm/blm (that i've been in lately) everyone expects when the **** hits the fan a quick 2hour >> escape. not a dead whm to be able to get back up.
