lol talking about zone patrol, i was at dunes yday pling a friend from ls. just when we finished other ppl decided to zone stuff.... i think there was about 3 gobbies... lol (in the dune - konschtat zone btw) and i jst in /say "Stop, i'll take it" of coz the person jst ignored and ran and my dia was out of range so all i could do was run after him lol, he zoned safely which was a relief

then i killed the gobbies at zone, went back to my friend who wanted a tele dem (lol tessic being sooo lazy, we're jst at the zone to konschtat lol) and i saw that his former pt was zonign another gob, so again, i ran after them, but this gobbie was engaged so i said in /say call for help (/help)...

ignored as usual.. they jst ran and ran... and one of the mages died at zone the peeps where out of range for cure so i couldn't do anythign about it, the gobbie was stil engageed so i can't get the hate off them, so the gobbie killed the mage, and decided to go back for one of the melees... the melee say the gobbie going back for him so he decided to zone, and pressed the default macro : help! i'm being chased by <t> at <pos> or something similar along those lines...

and i was jst rofl... coz the gobbie was engaged, cure was out of range, i can't do jack... so i /say again "for crying out loud, call for help lol"

still ignored..he zoned safely and the gobbie was killed by spira... =P

Lol, good 'ol Zone Patrol. I use to do this quite a bit at the Kahzam/Jungle zone. It was a great way to get a buffer and alittle extra for my Monk at level 46 when I died farming Beaudueax on several occasions. Notice how most of the zone patrol is spent killing Gobs that are being zoned? It's like gobs get a kick outta running poor, innocent, well not so innocent people out of the zone and causing complete and total carnage to and fro. Come to think of it, Qufim is kinda that way too (replace the Gobs w/ Wights & Banshees)..lol, except their hours of operation are 9pm to 4am, lol. I think I might have to draw up a funny little comic to that regards...

On a side note, there's nothing like a person zoning 20+ aggro/linking mobs (helm, and blazer beetles, rumble, soldier, and worker crawlers) to only entrance (Crawlers Nest, cough, cough..) and basically shutting that place down for hours.. not gonna mention any names.. lmao (*inside joke*).

Did someone say Crawlers Nest? - LMAO - If I'm not mistaken, I think I know exactly what you are talking about.

I zone patrol a lot, usually in Valkurm and Qufim island. Sometimes for fun I go anon and grab the Kraken and bring it to the tower zone and I shout "Kraken to tower zone." Most people get scared and they all clear the way, then I stop and kill it, I would never zone a tough mob and let it kill people but that doesn't mean I can't play some mind games.

I once did Zone Patrol on Selbina. As much as I don't get anything done, it's fun.

My favorite area to protect is Kazham, since there is no day that a Goblin won't be running after ppl zoning, so that's usually the best place IMO

Yes i love zone patrol when i have nothing else to do, i go to yhoator or yuhtunga alot when lfp. Theres just something about smacking those gobbies around that makes me feel good lol. I also enjoy the thanks that you SOMETIMES get from those you help and or raise lol. But thats not why any of us do it I dont believe. I've noticed that the areas ppl do patrol are the ones ppl usually die the most in. =P. Vengeance is nice.

Aaaaaahhh Yes!!!! Got to love zone patrol. It never gets bored when some train some Mobs.

Lets see now Dune area; Don't think that we are getting ignore everytime we shout "/shout call for help or use Help command." for people that are zonning, the only thing in thier mind is "RUN!!!!!" ya they heard you. But to the one whos running,it takes to long to use help command. But they are greatful that your are there.

For the Qufim same thing.

Now for crawlers nest, Yes that that lil hell hole!!! Im glad there are sevral Zonners there. The only thing wrong here is people zone!!! PEOPLE YOU CANT ZONE IN THIS NARROW PLACE!!! but if you do manage to "ZONE". your mob will try to go back to were it came from. The mob WILL attack other pt <the aggro ones "Soldier...Doom scorpion..ect">. To think of it you just massacred 5 pt and each pt is 6 members. Give your self a pat in the back you just become the most hated person alive in this server. And your name will end up here <lol i see this happen most of the time im there>. So quick note: if you got aggro just die in a safe area. Someone will raise you and tell your pt there is butcha mob around your deadbody. Most of the time there is a high level to take care of em. So just give a shout! Disengage and let "Our Heros" to take care of it.
