Well my intention behind this thread was to more reward character vs. play skill, level, rank, etc. I don't think people take into consideration how much the character of the player makes a difference in peoples experiences in Vana.
How you act and react can greatly affect someone's enjoyment of the game. Take Reg's goodbye thread for example. One incident based on an individual drove him from this game. This shocked me because I was just running around with him and some others in Toramarai Canal and he seemed like he was having fun. As he said himself, had things been different with this individual, he'd still be playing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that other individual is a horrible person, I don't even know who it is, it's just a recent example of the influence that everyone has over how other's see the game.
I also think, even though it is a neat idea, that if we go into that many categories you start to segregate people and, in a way, stray from my original intention. Now obviously you are more than welcome to take this upon yourself to create those threads but I'd prefer to stick with a broader overview of character. Thank you for the suggestion though. :-)
