I'm at work... but if you're bored, I have a chat at my LS' website. It's open for free discussion, Cerberus company enjoyed... There's usually a very small crowd, and no one tends to stay because of it... but hopefully we can get a good size crowd going since most of us will be just twiddling our thumbs waiting for the servers to come back up.

Oh! Wow, this downtime shouldn't bother me then! Though, I'd *love* to upgrade my PC version first, since that one has been lagging behind in updates -_-;;

I just got back from class so I guess I'll take a nap before I have to go to class again so I wont be all tired and Level longer tonight.
I am going to have to wait a long time for it to finish, this update will be huge and they killed fishing, I don't want to have to fight the fish, I liked fishing as a time where I could just zone out and not really pay attention so I could get something done in the game. Although I am looking forward to seing what happens to my friend whose a Sam, he is looking forward to see what new abilities he will get although he is pissed that they are going to "adjust" third eye.

you don't fight the fish like you fight monsters that you fish up... you fight a fish like you would IRL when fishing... let the fish take the line a lil so you know he's got the hook in nice and good... then you pull the fish in and it panics and trys to swim away. You fight with it until it gets exhausted and/or tired and you can reel him in easier... that's all this "fighting fish" is... I just got done watching a video demonstration of it. I'm not sure how you have to fight the fish, but there's a HP bar kinda thing for the fish... the more you fight with it, the lower the bar goes... the less you fight with it, the higher the bar will go. So if you fight it half way and stop, the fish will probably get away after it gets full HP again. However, if it's HP reaches 0, it has no more "energy" and can't put up a struggle/fight to keep it's life and then you can reel it in and put it in your inventory.
Personally, I'd rather wrestle with the fish like a real fisher would rather than getting: "You must wait longer before performing this action." for 45 seconds.

i know you dont fight the fish Nebz i was saying it in IRL terms as you put it.
Fishing in real life is boring. (my opinion wich causes my father in law to look upon me with more than a little scorn) however the changes to fishing makes me want to consider carrying a fishing rod for moments when I'm waiting for an airboat or something.
