Word to those shopping for hi-ether belts.Follow

So far this week I've seen about three bazaar's selling Hi-Ether belts on Cerberus. The first was someone I knew, sadly, and they were selling it for 5k. I thought: "Wow! A hi-ether belt?!? I could use that for my bcnm's... and only 5k..." then I checked how many charges/uses it had left and it was 0/20. I left it there and made a joke to the seller. The next day (or maybe a day later) I see another Hi-Ether belt in a bazaar for 20k. I think: "That sounds a little more appropriate than 5k, but still sounds kinda cheap." I then look to find, again, 0/20 enchantments on the belt.

Ok, the belt has no defense, it has no added stats... the only purpose of it is to wear it to make and dispense hi-ether's. Why would anyone wanna buy that for 20k if there's no uses left? That's like spending 200k on a caster's ring...

So just a word to the wise if you're shopping for hi-ether belts, or any enchantment item for that matter, always make sure there are charges left on it before you waste your gil. Chances are the original seller sold it for 5k and the person who bought it, after realizing the mistake, tried to sell it for 20k. Chances are it sold too ; ;... so just double check before you waste that gil you just spent an hr earning.

I thought the --:-- meant they weren't activated yet? cause if I ever see a date on them, it's usually already passed.

--:-- means that your time in Dynamis is up while your still in there, if you see a hourglass with a date on it, odds are they beat Dynamis in time
