I screwed up Mission 5-2 {/sulk} a tard tarus storyFollow

So here is my story. Keep in mind i do take as it is my fault for ******** up and i dont need to be reminded cause i just felt sick about it (you will see why).

So we rally up the troops our Party formation which took about 1 and a half hours to compile composed of the following
Raxel lvl 75 BLM/WHM
Railin lvl 60 BRD/WHM
Legicant lvl 67 RNG/NIN
Raikuken lvl 60 RDM/BLM (the tard taru)
Kurosawa lvl 60 NIN/WAR
Shaolyn lvl 60 SAM/WAR
Pretty good so far right? We all met up in jeuno we all prepped up bought our meds Especially me i bought 3 ethers 2 hi ethers 2 hi pots and 3 X potions. Then we teleported to castle zvhal(sp?) in hopes of handing shadowlords *** to him.

After a long hike up to shadowlords throne room and getting sorta lost on the way we finally make it. We are there ready to enter and give a major *** whoopin. Then it happens Everyone is able to get in EXCEPT ME ; ; i was so confused i was like wtf? how come i cant get in? Everyone thought i was lying when i said i couldnt get in. They all told me check my mission log i swear it said "the shadow lord" but i still couldnt get in ><. Then kurosawa pointed out did you talk to everyone? I was pretty sure i did. I had the mission saying shadowlord didnt I? I was so confused as i watched everyones pt macros light my screen. I sat outside of the throne room while the rest of my pt beat the crap out of shadowlord.

At this point i felt very sick after congratulating everyone on a job well done and obtaining rank 6. I went to sandoria to find out WTF did i miss. Turns out i forgot to talk to prince trion already irritated and shocked that i forgot to talk to 1 measly person i had to take out my aggression so i went fishing ^_^.

I believe this happened cause of Halver in cheateau d ogrille(sp?) He was giving me two seperate missions which i guess i mixed up. anyway i guess ill have another shot at 5-2 someday and gain redemption on being able to enter shadowlords throne room and handing his *** on a silver platter. SOooooooooooo anyone need to do mission 5-2? hehehe..

I had a similar experience but with Promyvion. An LS member had asked if anyone wanted to do prom. and I said sure. At this point, I had not done all my homework and didn't realize that I needed to watch certain cutscenes before being able to enter Promyvion. Party waited for me in Jeuno as I was in Dangruf Wadi. They entered Mea while I was still on my way, excited as anything. A deathwarp, an airship ride and a choco later, I'm at the Crag of Mea clicking furiously at the broken crystal. I couldn't get in. I didn't know why until someone asked "Did you get the cutscenes" .. wha..? Suffice to say, I made no entry into Promyvion-Mea and trudged back to Jeuno, feeling like a heel the whole way. To this day, I still cannot see/talk to my LS mate without cringing. Futard, your name is Elphaba.

what i will say is.. why the **** did Kuro take his level 60.... he has a 75 job... that would have done a finer job in the BC...

yea... his 75 would have been a better tank too...

Black Belt eh? Well, I know my LS in the past has sold the invidual pieces for 500k. It's not too bad of a price for the rediculousness that is the Black Belt. We've been doing CoP alot more lately than HNM though, but i'm sure it wouldn't be too diffiuclt to arrange this sort of trade. :)

Dont worry, you arent alone in this. >.> I too have done this exact thing (except we werent actually going up to fight the Shadowlord, we just happened to climb up there for the fun of it) and yes, it was the confusion with Halver and the multiple missions. Since then I always look at the mission statement and make sure its the same as everyone else's in the party.
