I recently shouted for help for G1 and, to my surprise a 73 RNG Zacharycbk, told me that I would never get past lvl 50 due to my bad rep. I have a bad rep for talking crap, and I am taking a turn, but his reason was different. He told me I would never get past 50 due to saying that RNG is equal to or less than a BLM in DD. I told him that everyone has their own opinion and that i've changed my mind upon the whole what job owns what, to the fact that it's not the job it's the player and that no job is better than one another. I don't know how many of you think i'm a noob or whatever but please, do not hold a grudge, it's a game and I play to have fun, I hope I don't have to start a new character just to have fun.

Hmm... Fierce... You once claimed that I 'was the type opf person to go around slandering others'. Remember?

Yeah right after you told me you weren't really all that sorry for PKing me when I nicely asked you to leave the small lil area I was xping in while you were farming.

It seems you have a bit of a problem with projectionism.

I remember that argument..He said he could out damage my 55+ rng with his 40ish blm. :\ Then said he could beat me in ballista flawlessly..Then started whining when other people laughed at him. ^^

Nlurg I never once said I could beat YOU I said a BLM could out damage a RNG. But now I have looked at the game as a whole and realized what I already said, if you came to provoke me it's not working, i'm trying to be a good person now, that's why I have giving out almost a mil a week. So please forgive me.

I think the problem most people have with you.. is that you think you are always right. Even when people prove you wrong.. you still insist you are right.

Also.. who cares how much money you have. It just irks people off when you talk about how much money you have all the time, but never offer to help anyone with it.

So what if a blm wants to get thier af gear? Why do you feel you need to tell them its a waste of time? Getting the af gear is an accomplishment. I have 5 of my 6 peices and I am very proud of them.

I saw you in Qufim the other day. I was running around helping my friend kill Kracken so his BST flag quest would be easier and killing random Wights for kicks.

We finished up and realized that our LS leader was leveling his Dark Knight here and decided to rag on him in /shout. It probably wasn't the best idea but we said things like "He eats babies and kicks Taru! Everyone /slap him!" It was harmless fun. He didn't care at all but you and your party went nuts about it. "You can't say things like that here." "Hey, I know him, hes a nice guys F- you!" "I'm gunna get my BLM and MPK you you stupid ***!"

I walked over to where you guys were and was like "Hey, guys chill out, it was just a joke, he's one of my best friends, sorry I was /shouting." and you called me a **** and told me to **** off or youd MPK me (I dont think a 50 monk cannot be MPKed in Qufim).

I'm glad you're on a "change who I am binge" if that's that way you acted before.

I'm sorry we had a dispute. Peace out man.

I just wanted to chime in with my $.02...

I PT'd with Fierce yesterday for a little while in the Boyahda Tree, and have nothing but good things to say. I had a great time, despite the fact that we seemed a littttle bit underpowered, or maybe over-maged, lol. If every BLM I met were as gung-ho about finding creative ways to melt various mobs, life would be a much sweeter ride all the way around. /salute

Much props to ya, and hope I get the chance to PT with you again after my AF gloves and G2 are taken care of :-)

thats funny, cuz that wasn't what i said. I said you would never get help with G1 because of the way you treat people that was all i said. And the whole RNG VS BLM thing came up when you are like lvl 33 and come into our ls sayin BLM is the best job in game fighting with everyone in the ls and then you got kicked. I'm glad to see your taking a turn because you could sure use it.

its kidna amazing how people suddenly try to change their ways when they hit the 50 range and they need lots of help >.>

I actually helped him get something for his AF the other night, and he seemed decent to me, maybe a little over-the-top in a couple spots, but I kinda wrote that off as youthful enthusiasm (God I feel old after typing that...) At any rate, what I wanted to say was, while it may be true that:
Quote:
its kidna amazing how people suddenly try to change their ways when they hit the 50 range and they need lots of help

but the real test of time is to see how they act after they've gotten that help, are they grateful, decent to you, whatever? Do they turn into a total jerk once they don't need you anymore? Its been said before and I'm sure it will be said again, but we're a small server, and the high level community gets to be a little bit tight knit. Now, I don't really consider myself high level or anything, or even part of that community (yet), but there are a lot of players that I'm starting to recognize by name/reputation, and it is important to be aware of how that reputation affects you... and that if you make one brief shining moment of goodness before suddenly reverting to the Jerk-That-Hell-Vommited-Forth-Upon-The-Earth, then suddenly you'll find (or at least it seems to me) that nobody wants to have anything to do with you...
So yeah, I'd help out when I can, but it seems to me that if this whole change is a ruse, then eventually he'll find himself standing in Jeuno in some nice cute blm AF with nobody to show, nobody to party with, and nobody to care.
I'll give just about anybody a second, third, or whatever chance, but the true test is time.
