Actually, this is the subject just to get attention, lol. I was just curious. Who here is married in the game? Is it as big of a pain of the *** as it seems like? I seem to be waiting for like forever for a friggen date.
Also, i just watched the intro video again. What exactly is that place being attacked? Where is it?
Oh and to answer myself. They need to be punted for one reason. DId you hear the way they cried in the intro movie? I rest my case.

Hello? Of course they need to get punted. You know how many ankle biting emotes I've seen in the last year? Think about it though, if something bit your ankle, wouldn't you kick at it too?

anyway, this FFXI video. i have not watched in a long time... possibly since i installed this game. back when POL had a animated SquareEnix opening page. since. they changed it to the blue. plain POL message now.... i think ill watch it again for the heck of it.
Well to elaborate more. The city is Tavnazia, the city you can see the remnants of at a certain part of lufaise medows. The attack by the orcs decimated the city, mainly because sandoria didn't do **** to defend it. The little boy you see is Aldo from the Tenshodo. His sister was killed in the attack if you remember, its really sad. That CS is probably the most moving FF intro i've ever seen. It's really awesome I haven't watched it in forever, maybe i will next time i play.
Not married in game...but tried for 6 months until my fiancee had to leave. Others have been trying since weddings first became available to NA, which I think was last May.
I've been to a few though, and they can be fun. It's amazing how many players cry IRL during them.
Other than winning a wedding date lottery and making sure everyone is there, a wedding's no trouble at all.

Actually the reason tavnazia went under isnt because the San'dorians didnt do anything. Not gonna throw out a spoiler but once you finish Sandy 8-2 you find out what really happened to Tavnazia and why.

also... Aldo's sister from the opening movie is alive in Selbina, but she lost her memory. and SElbina natives are taking care of her and has no idea who she is... neither does the girl.
(i believe it to be aldo's sister, since the locals say they found her washed up on shore 20 years ago and something something... )

hmmm im never punted. I am however told that they want to take me home with them.. or put me in thier pocket and keep me forever. Or im too cute to take damage. I find it all cute and funny. I do however play jump rope with mithra's tails and ride the galkas tails cause i walk to slow.

actually I'm gonna be looking into marriage info soon myself, an old and dear friend of mine who I've known almost as long as I've been playing proposed to me last week on the Barge in Carpenter's Landing. Can't really set a date though yet until we get more info and find a day all our friends can be online.

Leave Hermy alone, she's a great little Taru, and she doesn't charge for even raise 2, which was very nice when I was leveling next to her party, ^^.

My real life wife started playing so we could get married on the game... got to lvl 20, and stopped playing because we tried 4 or 5 times to get a date with no luck.
My 2nd character is a Taru, and rarely gets kicked (at least not without good reason! LOL) And the only time I've ever charged for a raise is when i was in Jeuno doing tele's and was asked to go all the way to the dunes to raise almost an entire party. All i asked them was that they pay for the chocobo at Holla. Is that unreasonable when prices of birds are over 1200 gil (rediculous).
Anyways, Look for Mountaindew if you haven't seen me around already... catch and kick me if you can! LOL
