Hi all! I have heard that some summoners will go and get a 4-5 high lvl summoner pt together and kill fenrir for you if you pay them.

I wanted to know:

A) Are there any high lvl summoners who would do this on our server?

B) How much would you charge to help punish the purple puppy?

Not sure if I would want to do this, and I dont have my whispers yet, just want to know who si out there if I wanted to do this. Thanks!

There's more involved than just Fenrir...

You have to battle ALL the avatars in their uncapped prime form... IE: The level 65 battles. Once you finish all the avatars and have all 6 whispers, you can obtain a moon bauble which grants you access to fight fenrir. THEN you can go fight fenrir.

Oh yea, considering I met a JP lvl 75 smn that knows 4 other lvl 75 smn's he can get to help me get fenrir... and considering the fact said JP player keeps encouraging me to level so he can help me... kinda tells me that finding someone you can leech this pup from will be rather tough. You also have to keep in mind that 50k, 200k, 300k is chump change to these guys. I had someone offer me 5k to take them back up Delkfurt's tower a second time this weekend... I took him for free cause when you're turning 200k a day, 5k is not very much. In other words, you'd probably have to pay a hefty sum in order to leech... and I would assume the lower level you are, the more you pay... oh yea, and don't expect to survive the battle if you leech... that pup will kill you with 2hr if not sooner.

Ok I know I have to kill the other Avatars first (thus the I don't have my whispers yet statement). I am currently a lvl 53 Whm, but I'm not worried about doing this unitl I am at least 60+.

My hope was me and a friend who has a 73 Drk could get 4 summoners who would be willing to split 400-500k to just do Fenrir, not any of the other leg work.

There are also ppl out there like me, who REFUSE to pay for their help lol. I won this fight with RNG, RNG, PLD/WAR, SMN(64), SMN(75), BLM. Notice that there is only one 70+ SMN in the PT, no BRD, no WHM, PLD is using /WAR. Won this fight with no deaths. So it CAN be done without paying ppl to help you :)

I usually help for nothing. The one time that I accepted money for helping is when I desperately need money to buy Raise III (trying to raise 1 million gil). Apart from that I never accepted money for helping.

The key about helping is that the one being help is not trying to leech. Fenrir is tricky because Fenrir is really powerful around level 40-60 (very strong buffs/debuffs), and it is nearly impossible for a level 40 Summoner that has no other jobs leveled to defeat Fenrir.

When I first fougt Fenrir, I had my white mage @ level 72 and Bard @ 69, and was trying to level summoner to sub white. I am now debating if I should level SMN to AF level... But I really need to play a melee DD XD

I think SE needs to institue a mini-Fenrir fight (may be with a level 40 cap), so people can get Fenrir at a lower level. Of course such fights should be made hard.

Hey Amanada, my friends Requil and Snowden are always talking all good about you.

I would like to bring my Whm into a Fenrir fight around 65ish after I have killed the other Avatars. But I want Smn as a sub for Whm now, and I kinda wanted my puppy when lvling summoner. See my predicament?

I may have to just suck it up and get whm up there first, either that or just say forget Fenrir and lvl my Smn without him.

As far as getting summoners who are willing to take payment to kill fenrir, that's pretty easy. There's about 10-13 level 70+ NA summoners on Cerberus now, about half of them have dedicated Fenrir experience.

I used to be free of charge until recently. I generally charge 100k for the win.

If you're not willing to pay some summoners, there's always traditional party setups. I was the level 75 summoner in Kyndryn's Fenrir fight, and we had a working strategy going for us (along with an insane RNG).

I can help if you need me, I can come as White Mage or Bard. I have beaten it 3 times without the use of summoners (1 time with HoE and 2 times with KTO). All 3 times we had PLD/NIN (Zicrod and Filim) who is 74+ to tank (so they can get Utsumemi II). I think all melees should also sub /NIN too.
