This is kind of a rant...

I notice that a lot of players now love to AFK sit or AFK stand in the middle of the road in Jeuno (especially Port Jeuno or near the mog house in Port/Lower Jeuno).

There are enough lag already... Please try not to obstruct. Could you please at least sit or stand at the side? And some of the bazzars have items priced at 99999999. I think I know why people do that with their bazaar, and I think you know too, but I will not critize someone openly here for that.

I know some of the "sitters" actually post regularly here (no names will be named). I just want to bring attention of a small issue that some players think it is ok to do, while it may not be ok to everyone.

They don't bother me as much as the people that zone out of MH and just sit there. I hate coming out of MH and not being able to move because 20 people went afk as soon as they zoned. ><

I have things in my bazaar for 99,999,999 and go afk frequently, I do have other things in ther though most the time and sit off to the side, usually in the corner in Lower Jueno. If I do happen to have nothing but the high price Roses, it means I sold all my lush pineapple juices. Not sure if I am the one you are speaking of but my roses are there for two friends that recent departed the game, they are there in rememberance of them, I'm sorry if I am causing this annoyance and will try to find a new area to bazaar when at work. :(

First about people that are "used" to sit in the middle... I know this should have be brought up in the past, but it hasn't. Now I brought it up, I hope people will not get angry about it.

Bazzaring in the side is ok, and showing certain items in memory of certain players are ok... But some people that does 999999 bazzars are not doing that in memory of other players.... eh.. I think they are trying to show off. And they are also the people who sits in the middle of the road.

yeah, theres always the people that you run by that have a bunch of equip/spells all set at 99,999,999. having items in your bazaar like that has no benefit, so the only logical reason would be to show off. O_o kinda sad.... but the way i see it, if people have flowers and such set at 99,999,999. there is usually a reason for it, because you dont normally just show off flowers unless it has some sentimental value... oh well i basically said what amanada said but still ^^

Some people put items up in there bazaar for such amount cos you cant accidently drop something in your bazaar.
I read a story once that some guy whoe changed jobs, and when clearing out his inventory space accidently dropped his erytos bow

I too hate when people are blocking certain areas in town, but just wanted to post a possible reason for the high priced items in bazaar.

If you ever see me with my Earth Staff and Light Staff in Bazaar for 99,999,999 it is because I didn't want to change weapons while fighting and everyone of my macros has an equipment change in it. So, for example, while skilling up, I put my staves in bazaar so my sword will always be on. I know alot of people that use the high priced bazaar for this purpose and then just forget to remove them from their bazaar.

Also, certain things are in Bazaar if you're looking for help with something. Like the tarut card quest, or the eye cluster for the Optical Hat.

I do agree it feels like people are showing off by using the bazaar, but sometimes there are other reasons.

That's a smart thing to do during skillup, I never tried that. I usually just comment out the /equip macro line when skill up like doing //equip

It is usually very obvious if someone is showing off or is seeking help. Like setting a God spawn item, Cursed gear, or a high price item that he/she may use soon at 99999999... that is clearly showoff.

Sometimes I noted people set items to 99999999 and have bazzar messages saying "Price negotiable". That is someone trying to get around the tax.

To me, obstruction or showing off is both uncalled for... To obstruct and show off at the same time, that is kind of annoying; as that is, "Hey you! Look at this l33t item I have! Don't have it? {Too bad}"

Yea I dont like how people congregate infront of the Jeuno MH's either, cause I have to run THROUGH them to get to my MH, and its kinda rude to run into people characters I think.. And it really does lag the hell out of the area. Not to mention the more that is there the longer you are getting NO WHERE until the server lets you run through them. And THAT is a annoying.

I dont check bazaars anymore but I had a friend once that had this tarot card thingy priced at 99,999,999 and when I asked him why he had it priced that high, he said just to show that he has it. Maye its a good thing I don't check bazaars, I'd probably blacklist someone who has erase in thier bazaar for 99,999,999..

..I see alot of humes with that opaline dress on, now I think they are showing off..^^;;

Admittedly I do this alot myself sometimes but it's not cause I'm AFK, it's cause I'm either /telling alot, or /linkshell alot and just forget where I'm standing. And when I seek for PT(which on somedays can take years) I sit next to the bard on lower jeuno, others crowd up on that thing in the middle(which is traditional..).

Donno why SE made the entrance to Jeuno MH so narrow. o_o
