I decided to go back to leveling my summoner for a bit (lvl 52)
and take a break from my ranger (lvl 60)
But... theres a few things that are really bugging me.
1) The lack of fenrir >_<
2) The lack of carbies mitts >_<
So.. i was wondering, would anyone be kind enough to help me farm my prelate key to get to the carby mitts NM / kill the NM?
I can get the offering on my own no problem.
Last time I went it didnt go so well, got a full alliance of 18 people and about 10 of them dropped before we even got the prelate key :(
Even if its just help to get the key atleast its a step in the right direction.

I thought you needed the offering key item from a ??? in a certain part of the temple, not a prelate key, but I could be wrong. I've never done this quest before.
You need the prelate key to access the part of the temple where the "???" spawns.
Yea it blows... I have the offering, and I also have someone willing to help who has a prelate key.
So now all i need is a few lvl 70+ willing to take the NM on for me.... If i have to pay I will. >_<

Apparently there "Was" a trick to get past the door that the preate key is used for.
BY aggroing a magic pot from the other side it will open the door for you. But its been fixed... I think. >_<

No not just "was" you can still do it.
I have gotten past the prelate key door 2 times without a key since the "alleged" fixing of it. The people saying it can't be done are just impatient. Just wait for a pot or tonberry to come close to the door and pull it. They open the door for you. It still works. Be patient.

Anyway...A blm named Xbrotherhoodx Kindly said that I could use his prelate key.
All I need now is a group of people 4-5 lvl 70+ and a Brd for light resistance should be able to do this easily.

I'm in work at the moment Laago but I should be on game in about 2 - 2.5 hours time.
edit: Oh and I also have a Crumhorn +1 which is +2 carol which should help with the light resistance

That would be awesome, But we still need to find as many lvl 70+ as we can to help fight it.
the re-pop time of the ??? you trde the offering too is 15 mins so 2 runs shouldnt be a problem, and the mitts are 100% drop :D
Anyway... Im sure all the NICE lvl 70+ people who read this post are gonna help right?.... *crosses fingers in hope* :D

I will help if I am free sometime this weekend. I think an alliance of 2 PT of 65-75 can do this safely (5-6 is too dangerous imo because of all the repops and the repops will link with the NM or aggro immediately).

You're wasting your time when it comes to getting a Prelate key. The drop rate is crappy, and you can open the east door to the top floor of the Temple of Uggaleiph without a key anyway. Just bring a good summoner who can use his Carbuncle to pull a tonberry through the door.

Last night we were so unlucky, you almost had it, then we were hit with a series of Searing lights and bad timing that resulted in mass death.
