Fun, fun, fun!!!Follow

Well, last night was fun....


Recently a good friend of mine that had left the game a few months ago came back. Some of you may or may not know him. Ihsan is a level 60BLM and has been on a leveling trip since he came back (he was 56 about 4 days ago). So he needed to do GenkaiIII. We went to Beaudeux, got the ??? stuck around to get me a PLD testimony but a member of the PT was tired, so we had to take off (stingy Darksteel quadavs ;;).

So we head to Castle Oztroja. This is where the fun happens. We have a PT of 5, 69PLD 75SAM, 56DRK, 60BLM, SMN(don’t remember his lvl). Everything is going smoothly, we go get the password for the trapdoor, the Samurai DC’s and while waiting I pulled a mob, killed it, got coffer key to drop, which was cool cause we had found the coffer and I was lookin to get some free gil. Well another PT is there and asks if a key dropped, so we let their member that needed it lot on the key.

So we enter the password, drop down and get invisible. Hitokirin (SAM) and myself start looking for the Priest. To our surprise someone was fighting it, so we just stroll up there, we see some dead, I offer to raise, next thing I know, the RDM in the JP pt fighting the priest, uses Chainspell and Escape ; ;. Leaving a pissed off Yagudo just chillin there. So we get everyone to back off, and I move off the platform to the west side and wait for him to turn around. Well he never turned. As a matter of fact, that little ******* just walked straight towards me, and when he was within agro range decided to let his truesight kick in ;;.

Well I figured at least they need to get the ??? even if someone dies. So “Warf uses Provoke on the Yagudo High Priest.” I was however smart enough to pull the Priest and subsequent train to the drop point. I figured since I was going to die, I might as well make it easier on myself getting an R3. So I was expecting to die alone, but Hitokirin decided that he wasn’t gonna let me have all the fun >.>. So there we are 75SAM and 69PLD fighting a 6 mob train including the High Priest. As you can imagine… “Warf was defeated by the Yagudo High Priest” quickly followed by “Warf falls to level 68” ;;

Hitokirin was also killed, but the others in the PT escaped after they were able to get the ??? and complete this part of GIII. Well they all start looking for an RIII, and I ask one of the JP pt members that was there, and they didn’t have a WHM with RIII.

Ihsan found us a RIII, and Ehren came out to Castle O. Now normally someone coming to raise you isn’t a big deal, however when your at the ??? part of GIII in Castle Oztroja and the password is gonna change soon, it is a very big deal. So Hito and I are watching our timer dwindle down while they are getting the password, and getting through the multi-lever door, then getting help to get through the big brass door to be able to drop down. My timer was at about 6min or so when they got through the multi-lever door. I was getting very “excited” about the situation, because any problems, and I wouldn’t get my level back. At about 5 min left on timer they got agro, and the DRK took out some mobs on the way up. At about 4 min left on timer they were looking for help getting past the brass door to get to the trap door. At 3:35 seconds left on the timer “Ehren starts casting Raise III on Warf.” WOOT!!! At 2:15 seconds left on Hito’s timer “Ehren starts casting Raist III on Hitokirin.” WOOT!!!

Thankfully, everyone did a great job, and we got the original mission completed as well. After that, we escaped to pick up the DRK, and I got a D2 and went to bed. They headed off to Davoi to complete GIII. Hopefully that all went well.

So, Congratulations Ihsan on coming back, and getting me killed XD j/k man.

I do want to say thankyou to Ehren for coming out to Castle O. I know that it isn't the nicest place, and Hito and I really appreciate the effort you, and everyone else put in to get us an RIII in a bad spot.

Nice Warf, sounds like a ton of fun. ^^ too bad about the deaths, but RIII is awesome, isn't it? >.>

i've had a couple close calls myself in that room helping friends get to that ??? fortunately, i have escape, so i usually end up lucky, and get the cast off... only had 2 deaths out of 10 trips in there so far (1 me, and 1 the friend who got the ??? the 2nd time in)

Hey Cania, how you been? Everythings goin ok right now. Ihsan's on the voting block to get into my LS. He should hopefully be a shoe-in. BTW go to Play onlines site, you can come back w/ all your levels and stuff XD

I guess FFXI has lost a few people, they have a come back to us deal. Anyone thats deleted a charactor can get it back apparently.

Castle O isn't to bad anymore since they took the astral rings outta the coffer. Its really not too bad since i'm 69 XD lol. Tanked my first two gods the other night. That was fun. Died, but still fun.

I've done 3 dynamis and supposed to do windy tonight >.> but unfortunately it's my bowling night -,- and my Power supply died on my home PC. I'm posting at work XD.
