Theres a WHM named Halien on our server who is a total ***.
He stole my friends Vermillion cloak, and will not return it.
The manner in which he came into possesion of this cloak is VERY unfortunate, and was not intentional.
He farmed for 6 months to get his cloak, and now he is being told by this *** that he will have to pay 5 million to get it back.
When we asked for its return, all he had to say was "His mistake, my gain."

Im asking everyone here to not talk to this person, do not help him and do not party with him. He is a heartless pathetic person who would steal 6 months of work from someone who deserves to own the item.

Halien, you did nothing to earn that item, and you invested NO time into getting it. All you did was come across an item through a chance mistake, and any person who is worth the dust they are made of would return the item.
You have caused one of the coolest people I have ever met to want to quit the game, and you are causing several other people to quit also.
I hope you are proud of yourself, and you enjoy your ill gotten FAKE money. Its people like you who make me hate games like this, and who make me feel bad about being a human.
I wish you could understand what you are doing.
I find it unfortunate that you can not have enough compasion to return an item that someone worked so hard to obtain...

Doesnt look to me like hes bashing him cause hes leaving the game, but because the guy stole a very expensive piece of gear from one of his friends. It also looks like the guy was an *** about it.

lol how smart! why even be mad or quit the game when you can just lvl up BLM to 68 and buy a black cloak for 100k???? Eldarion such a briliant idea you deserve a Nobel prize!!!!

There is a similar thread is on KI... Solaran is a long time player, he is helpful and nice person, and very well respected among old timers.

Regardless what happened and what mistake have happened.... This is my take, if you get a nice item or a lot of gil by someone's error, you should return it. To err is human. And friends/people >>>> item. A lot of drama or conflicts originates from the fact people pick item over people. For heaven's sake, item in the game is worthless in RL, while people you meet in game may be someone you will remember for long time or even someone you may be befriend in RL.

This is not the 1st time I hear such things, and it has happened to myself (but on a much lower price item but by no means cheap).



That is a very tasteless and pointless post. Someone lose a nice item (regardless of reason) and may quit the game, and you are putting flames on it. Not a good thing to say.
