Damn you work! Damn you to hell!

You do realize this won't take effect till the next update? Today's emergency maintenance is NOT an update... :\

I think one of the things that all the high-level (read: 75, and soon-to-be 75's) are forgetting or downplaying is that this will also impact your Merit Point earnings.

Even at lv75, if you want to grind out a few thousand XP to rack up some limit points, you shouldn't have as far to go. Not to mention that since most of the XP mobs are VTs and so on, a reduction in the XP to hit your limit is certainly welcome.

Anyway, I've got a pretty long way till I'm even gonna START worrying about Limit Points and all that stuff. I still need my AF Legs >_<

nah, thats just something to be praised. Plus your a fellow PLD. Galkan at that!!!

I think its a great idea. It could help stimulate more people to play and hopefully the numbers of those online at any given time will start to increase to levels we had last summer. I know, wishful thinking....but I enjoyed seeing so many new faces everytime I played. Meeting new players was exciting. Think about it, when's the last time you were in a pt in the dunes with new players in your pt? As in no subjobs and have only had the game for 2 weeks.

Anyway! back to the point, when is the update?

Kinda sucks for me who got my ranger to 75 the "Hard Way", I think if they do this they should think of a way to reward the people that did get to 75 the old way but i doubt they will do this.

Hey Everybody it's Marlyne (Marleen)

I think personally it'll be nice for everybody. I'm a 73 RNG and I don't mind. I think the only question is this. Will there be enough room for everybody? I mean I know alot of areas are opening soon, but the missions from what i heard are really hard. Sky is nice, i've seen Sea thanks to a friend of mine, but I don't think that the exp difference will be noticable on one level. It may be like 51-75 Be like leveling from 51-72. They may just remove 120k exp over all, or so. That's a considerably amount of hours leveling. Thats 6 Hours if your in an EXP PT. In the long run i don't think it'll be too BIG of a reduction. What i'm hoping for is merit points :D I'd like to get some - Emnity if that's possible. I don't know much about them but i know it takes a while to get em :D

Anyways, i'm off.
See you again :D

I dont think the TNL is gonna decrease all that much. At the moment it is 44k tnl at lvl 74. The max exp to be lost is 2.5k and at 10%. THey are only changin it so its 8% lost at a max of 2.4k exp. So... i really dont think all that much is gonna change. Anyone else have thoughts about how much is gonna get knocked of tnl?

10k for a Merit point is nothing, so I doubt that will be affected.

I like the adjustment for my SMN though, been a chore to run through the level grind, especially with the bad parties.
