I keep trying to log into my playonline account, but it'll authenticate DNAS, and then go to an ERROR CODE: POL-0206 screen saying that it wont log me in because the cables arent connected properly, but i've checked, re-checked, and checked again, and they're all there and working properly...
Is this or has this happened to anybody else?

They're doing a POL update today and a FFXI update tomorrow. They're probably still doing the POL update and that's why you can't get in.
no, they did the update, and for a few hrs people could play... but apparently this is a whole seperate issue that SE is aware of, looking into and "Deeply appologizes" for.

Yeah they were having tech. difficulties so they're doing maintenance now.
