I am surprised this isnt being heavily debated in this server forum yet. It was the hottest topic all week, and now not a word of complaint.

That total xp reduction is kind of scary, but I am still at a loss for the notion that high level players were cheated. They throw around notions of "overnight high level noobs" and "compensation"... The path for me to go from 68-75 is only 21k less (4 hours in my favor), and some drama queens are claiming they are quitting over this... lol.

My take on the situation:
FFXI now costs $19.99 and I paid $60 a year ago. But they lowered it to make it more accessable to more people. This was a 2/3 reduction in real world money. Is SE selling us loyal fans out to noobs once again? Shall we all demand a cash rebate?
Disregard the year you've had to enjoy it, and the 4 months you've been sitting at L75 reaping the rewards?

It just doesnt make any sense to be upset with either situation.
