While you may think it's hilarious it's really not. Toying with people's feelings in such matters is just cruel and just really rude.

I don't know if this would work for you at all. I've been loitering on the intarweb since back in the day, and in my exp, 95% of the people claiming to be gay or bisexual are either teenage attention whores or creepy old men. One of the things that makes the internet what it is is the anonimity. You can say or act as you wish. This being said, trying to start an LS like this is going to get you alot of trolls and drama queens. Good luck though.

Funny, I read the thread and several of my LGBT friends have posted here already. I read about an LGBT linkshell for another server, and started wondering if Cerberus had anything like that. I hope to see one, or maybe join Jordan's if it's open to girls as well.

Funny how one person was flamed to death for saying something inconsiderate and idiotic; but you all pass over this little doosy of a comment - a kid basically trying to be insulting of other LS by insinuating that they're "gay".
Eldarion, go hit puberty, learn a bit about life, and try to put some thought into your insults; especially the time and place. I wish I had fraps so I could post a screenie of Mr. Eldarion here calling me a "stupid N-word ( yeah the racist one )" because his LS said my LS took Bune from them and MPK'd them ( which didn't happen fyi - they wiped and we got. )
Granted he's a kid I didn't blow it up more than it should have been, since I have many friends of many different ethnic backgrounds; especially in my LS: And I didn't want people to be hurt and upset and know about something an ignorant kid said.
Anyways - Bani was dead on. This is a lifestyle for people and some people would like to incorporate this ingame. Just like there are EU LS's, Christian LS's, RP LS's, - don't make an insult on another LS when someone seriously brings up making an LBGT LS on a forum.

Man I'm really disappointed to see some of the people I've known be so ignorant. Regardless of someone's skin color, gender, or sexual preference, we all breath and bleed the same. Why try to belittle or ostracize someone because they were born into or chose a different life style? Is it affecting you? No. They aren't forcing themselves on you so grow up and move on.
to clarify, it's not about growing up in age, it's about growing up in mentality. some people live to be 80 and are still the single-most bigoted bunch i've ever come across in my entire life, while others hit 25 with a maturity that would have placed them at an admirable 40-or-so-mentality.
age comes with time, and i doubt even with medical advancements of today can we halt it. but maturity comes with experience, and the willingness to reason, understand, appreciate, accept. it doesn't take much to halt maturity, just some oversized ego, and obvious ignorance.

Eldarion admitted on KI that he was 16. While it does amaze me how often teenagers play this game while in school (hopefully) full time, we must keep in mind the stage of life they are in. 16 is the age of sexual identity where a boy struggles with his own sexuality. Filled with a sense of not knowing they often burst out in uncontrolled rants of aggression. It's ok, we hope he makes it through this stage without getting beat up too much which is often one of the side effects.
on a lighter note, more and more PM gets flamed along side KoN (who is arguably the best LS on cerberus). I'm flattered. Though it's not really an insult since neither of our LS's base recruiting on sexual preference. Recruiting is based on job, skill, level, personality, trustworthyness, and mission status.

I've kept my mouth shut too long...
I keep my personal life to myself and a select few members of the game. I like it this way. It's nobody's business and I don't wear it on my sleeve. I know people have religious beliefs and what not, and in no way do I want to infringe on that.
But having said that I need to get something clear, and in turn hope my current friends & LS mates don't look at me any differently for coming out like this ...I'm still Mattea, the scythe bearing DRK who hates waiting for parties and after a year of playing has found out he has more fun playing as a mage^^

I don't wake up in the morning and think "Today I'll wear the black pants, the grey shirt, and oh what the hell.. I'll be gay too" I won't grow out of this, I won't be exorcised out of this, it's just not going away. (trust me, I've tried to deny it and my life was miserable) Get used to it... we're like Mastercard, Everywhere you want to be. Some of us just keep to ourselves.
Lifestyle is how people make it out to be. Not all gay people are flag flying, disco dancing, drag queen, leather wearing, party boys. Thats just like saying all black people eat collard greens and like rap. To me a comment like that is just plain racist Just typing typing something as asumming as that went against everything I stand for, but I'm only trying to prove a point. Had someone in my LS called someone else a stupid N* I would have been all over them like white on rice.
Having said that may I remind some of you that it's easier to judge than to be judged.
I won't dip into your Koolaid if you keep your hands off mine. Hence a good reason to have a GLBT friendly shell, so close minded uneducated morons can be kept at bay while the rest of us can carry on conversations without worrying about being persecuted for who we are.
I felt voicing my opinion was needed since the majority of the folks with a positive attitude were straight and I guess keeping my opinions in the dark made me no better than the bashers. To my friends who did voice an opinion, I thank you.
